It was quite some time ago can't remember how long but 3 years prior to finding tranceaddict I was taken to my first rave, at a pizza hut after hours. They were playing what I thought at the time to be techno, now I know its Jungle, however I found the music hella repetative and stupid. Thinking that was techno I gave up on all that shit. 1 year afterwards I found these trance cd's on sale at blockbuster they looked like something from like early 90's hella old looking. Anyways I bought them for 30 cents who cares but they blew my balls just a beat with ocean sounds. 2 years later I heard the sound, Sytem F-out of the blue. Then I had to find out where this shit came from, what poeple listens to this, what this shit called? Thus I became the first raver at my highschool. Rather alone and disgrunteled I shared this secret with a select few of my friends. Then one day I met this chinese hacker guy that boosts cars. I found his hobby of boosting cars facsinating, one day while kicking it with him he playes what at the time I thought was techno. He told me it was not techno its trance and if I wanna know more I should go to tranceaddict.com

I can't remember, I've known about the site for years, but just can't remember how I found it in the first place...

ID tag in mp3 DLed from napster
never bothered with the forums for the 1st couple of months i was on TA but discovered that some ppl did post about the music instead of just tits and arse so i signed up - 2 years 9 months ago lol

i was linked from another site. was downloading tracks off mp3.com and from somewhere else and i clicked on a link to TA. I used to just dl the singles and livesets and then after a bit joined the forums.
saw the site while browsing in morpheus and went to it. Think it was tiesto @ dancevalley 2001 that I saw it in. That was in october of 2001 or so. I browsed the forums quite a bit and then registered in april of 2002.
I found it by being a shameless leech and looking for more places to download singles and sets 
I registered right away but never really posted for a year or so after I registered, now I'm spamtastic 
You dont find TA, it finds you.
As odd as it may sound I can't even remember.... !! that scares me sometimes

I found the link listed in an id3 tag of some mp3 back in late 2000. I dunno why I hadn't registered on the board until the beginning of 2002.
