SO your playing the game on PS2 then?

I have a PS2 controler connected to my PC though the PS2/PC converter doesnt support FF

BTW im also downlaoding the game and even though both CDs have over 1000 sources (at leats half of them full) after 5hours i have 390kb of CD1 and 61kbof CD2 Ill be playing this one sometime around christmas...christmas 2004 that is

whoa, there are so many things wrong with that statement its rediculous. no way in hell a game with so few tracks can be the 'best game ever' especially when the cars arent even very different in performance.

Im playing this game on PC with PS2 controller and it works fine with the FF.
I was getting the game from my "ftp dump" at 570KB/sec (both cds), took me roughly 2 hours.

1st of all, its all matter of opinion, and in my opinion this IS the best racing game ever.
2nd of all, its all about online play that makes this game untouchable.
3rd all the cars ARE diffrent in everyway.

yes it is opinion, but...

1. alright, shows what you know about tuning cars and driving

2. okay, but its not the only online racer out or coming out

3. in appearance, not performance. esp after tuning. cmon, its NFS, they cant actually vary that much, only Porsche had vast differences that were reasonably lifelike|

1. I know alot more then you ever will.
2. Every other racing game got boring after few hours.
3. You obvisouly havent played the game yet.

I hate you, at 3am yesterday when i postedd my last post ik hat 600k now at 1pm after i got home from work i have 13mb Never was a release on eMule so slow

Harry Potter Quidditch is comming along nicely though

BTW about every other racing game getting borig. If you havent yet ,try out Live For Speed. THe demo alone (3 cars and 1 track) kept thousands of people (me included) busy for over a year. Now when a final version came out with more tracs, more cars and more realistic gameplay its better than ever, and mastering all the tracsin all the cars is practicaly impossible but its nice to try If you prefer realism this is the game for you and since online play is the only possible (OK you can practice oflinebut the bots are retards) it never gets boring. Oh andi absolutely must not forget, this is the only game in which the phisics are that good that it can accurately simulate a drift! That alone is worh the money they are asking for it (about 1/3 of what games usualy cost i think)

Anyway enuough advertising im gonna go yell at my POC for a while becouse it dwownloads so damn slowly

WARNING!! NFSU is VERY addictive!!
I played it right now for about 4 hours straight, saying 10 more min and thats it,
I got a Civic from lineup of cars you chose to start with, and I already have few major upgrades like Level 1 HKS Turbo, Brembo Breake Kit and some other minor ones, and my Civic is flying around like crazy, the graphics are superb (if you have top of the line PC + video card), the controls are excellent, the AI DONT cheat, and the game itself is the bomb...... Midnight Club 2 what ??

BTW, the more you win the more money you get, the higher reputation you get, you get to be on Magazine covers, you unlock HUNDREDS of parts, tracks and what not!!

I didnt play RANKED games yet, but I did play UNRAKED races against few people, it was intese and fun!

Well after 2 days i have about 50 Mb of each CD, this is going to take a while

In the meantime i got the whole Harry Potter Quidditch World Championship down in a few hours and im playing that like crazy i mean i started playing it at 10 pm and now its 4.30 am and i really didnt known that so much time has passed. Now i have to decide what do do Continouse playing and go to work in 2.5 hours or sontinue playing and call in sick in 2.5 hours

Bittorrent fucks up my download computer up while eMule runs just fine with it So im stuck iwth it (besides no fake file as of yet on sharereactor so thats where i get all my links from ) And usualy the downlaod is weryfast especialy with 1000+ sources but NFSU...damn this one is slow dunno why

personally i hate ricerocket shit, but i have the game idling and will try it out once i get a chance. i've liked most of the NFS series since NFS2 on my voodoo, although i have a huge feeling EA is just milking money like most of their recently released games.

this game is ok, definatly NOT the best racer ever, not even close, the customizing is the only really good part of the game, the actual racing is pretty poor and the gfx are ok, but everything is too shiny, if you like this type of racing (style points etc) I'd recommend you get project gotham 2, as it kills this game in everyway
