Anyways, I have mk2's and I love em.
I'm planning to get a new mixer, I'm thinking a Behringer DJX-700. I've heard a lot of great things with it and its really nicely priced. Maybe you should look into this mixer as well.
What do you people think about the Behringer DJX-700??

i don't want to start another djx-700 rocks/sucks thread but the 700 is a cheap knock off piece of crap. the faders are crap, they aren't even vca faders so they're going to start to bleed after about a year of use or maybe less, the eq section isn't very good, the effects are useless. behringer studio consoles rock! however their dj mixers are all *cheap* knock offs of other mixers. the djx-700 is popular because it looks just like a djm-600. there are many better mixers you can buy for $200. they only have two channels but they'll be good quality mixers and that's what's really important.

i too, almost fell for the djx700 thinking it was a djm600 for $200. it's not. if you think you'll get a $1000 mixer for $200 you are wrong.

i realized this, and purchased a tascam x-9. got it offa ebay for $640 brand new :0

tascam x-9.. allll riiiight....

i know the x-9 isnt the best, but it is a very high end mixer. i had originally planned on getting the xone 62, but for $640 I could not pass it up.

since you dont like the x-9, what would YOU recommend as a good mixer?

ok then....what is a better then average mixer that i can afford between 200-400 dollars...

vestax PCV 275 is a pretty decent mixer, a lot better than the 175. I think it's about $500, which isn't too bad.

Numark has a shitload of mixers in that range, too many to list, but i think that they have the best products in the cheaper range

oh and one more thing, i'm glad you didn't decide to get the MK5s, they are useless, no better than the M3Ds. the MK5Gs on the other hand are worth it (as they have double the pitch range acessible by a button)

So, you've decided on MK2s then? you know about the "click" in the pitch right? personally i find it annoying, that's why i got the M3Ds.

*shiver*
I also find it annyoing, its not a big deal or anything but I wish it wasnt there.
I need to find out how to get rid of the click sound, I know there is a way to disable it properly.
