I really honestly think that they could have done a better job with Revolutions. The bullet-time punch in the rain was good, but that doesn't make up for the lack of story/lack of answers/OTT war scenes that the rest of the film is made up of.

A real shame.

All in all a great film, but the lack of answers disappointed me. It left me with the following questions:-

What of the people still plugged into the Matrix? Were they all killed by the failure of the matrix caused by Neo's decision to save trinity (as suggested in Reloaded).

If they are still alive, what is to be done? Unplug them and have the machines suffer? Or unplug them after a new power source is found? Or give them the choice to remain in the matrix or be unplugged into the shithole of the real world?

The only way I can see is to work together to reverse the dark storm (blacked out sky) so the machines have solar power and the humans can all be released without damaging the machines. This is assuming they are alive of course.

I did like the way that what 'the architech' said would happen in reloaded, happened anyway. I.E. Neo was re-inserted into the prime program (after killing Smith), Trinity died and The one's power was re-absorbed ready to be re-incarnated the next time round. The only difference being that peace was achieved rather than the destruction of Zion and the re-starting of the 'free' human existence.

i thought it was fucking mint, i thought a humans verses robots battle was well in order for the last film, only bit i didnt like was the cheesy trinity dying i love you speech.

the rest had me on the edge of my seat it was well good.

the second one i thought was far to philisophical and got a bit otu of control with neo flying and everything else happeneing in the matrix it probs confused most people.

but we all know the first one is by far the best but the third defos shitted on the secpnmd for me.

btw proto: the people in the matrix would stay in the matrix coz theyre living in a fake and nicer world, only the people who know about the matrix and are stuck in the matrix will be freed like the creater said at the end.

btw if anyone is wondering why smith died, it was coz neo was he was neo's formulaic opposite created by the matrxi, so when he kills neo he dissapears too

This film is the contender for the worst film Ive ever seen any preschooler could have come up with it. I bet the entire script fitted on 4 double sided pages of A4.

i think you should do a mcbeth in the form of the ket creature. lots of different ket creatures who live in big mounds? it would be class!

i dont know whether to make it modern or will it just end up as cheese if i do?

Posted by Cru54d3r on Nov-11-2003 19:55:

Cheese imo is only defined truly by the ending .. take apocalpyse now .. my fav war movie .. cos it remains true to the story line of the vietnam war .. and doesnt have to delve too deeply into the loss of loved 1s to drag out emotion from its viewers (eg pearl harbour) ..
