Hope you guys have a terrific time with our main man! Us Florida TA's are lucky to have him here in Miami!

COLDHARBOUR!

Yes, PLEASE not Chevy's! There are so many great restaurants in San Francisco/Berkeley/Oakland that we don't need to go there...especially on a Tuesday!

I think for the Armin and Ferry meetups, this is a convenient place because of the location, and because they can take a big group on a weekend night (Fri/Sat).

Spective, it's your birfday, so what kind of food do you like? We should go somewhere that you love!!

Screw that...markus is coming over 2,000 miles to play....we should be asking him what HE likes, not Spective....

Wish I could go, but someone has to answer Markus's emails and sign for the UPs/fedex packages

I am sure you guys will show Markus a good time. Just make sure he doesnt miss his flight back.

Posted by cookypuss1 on Nov-12-2003 22:41:

No way, Dave! It's Spective's birfday, *and* he's throwing a free party, *and* he's bringing Markus in, *and* he's paying for Markus's dinner, so I say he gets to pick where it is! Sheesh. No "rolls eyes" icon on this board, but that's what I'm doing!

Oh hush you two lol. I don't think Markus really cares about where we eat. Hes just very excited to finally meet some of his west coast fans. If anyone knows the Oakland or SF areas are fine. Markus and I are staying at a hotel in SF (in seperate rooms of course). Like I said, I am from Davis so I dont know the city too well in terms of dining. If you guys could help out, that would be great

Posted by cookypuss1 on Nov-12-2003 23:29:

No worries - Dave and I give each other a hard time on boards all the time.

Seems like SF makes the most sense then. Seriously, if you can give me some food preferences, I can give you some suggestions. I think for some folks cost is an issue, so I'll try to keep the entrees under $15...

Posted by Spective on Nov-12-2003 23:33:

Hmmm, I am into a lot of types of food. Good mexican would be nice, but I think you guys are sick of Mexican food lol. I think asian dining would be out because the atmosphere in asian restraunts is quiet and respectful. How about like a "Chilis" type place?

Good Mexican on 2nd/Harrison:

It's nothing like Chevy's, trust me! Dave likes the place too!

Posted by Spective on Nov-13-2003 00:31:

As long as its more of a casual place where we can goof around, and take pictures without upsetting the people around us and the staff, its fine. Markus told me he prefers his food without loogies Also, as long as its not too pricey so everyone can eat, then I say its a go!

Posted by bobba lou on Nov-13-2003 00:36:

lol.....Markus to bad there is no BIG PINK in SF.......lol

Enjoy.....

Okey dokey...let's not do Maya, then. It's a nicer kind of place, so we should probably opt for somewhere else.

The Cha Cha Cha location on Mission takes reservations for large groups - mabye we can request to be in the back room at that location? The tapas there are cheap and soooooooo yummalicious!

It's a Tuesday night. Would be a good night for Jillians?

I recommend Spective not have a big meal....or he's gonna be over the toilet real early

Dave

Nah, I'll be cool, I dont plan on getting totally blasted anyways. I hate that type of drunk feeling. The good drunk feeling is when you are loose enough to look like a good dancer, but still be able to drive yourself home

Dude, it's your 21 B-Day..it's like a requirement. YOU HAVE TO!!!!! If you don't, you will regret it. Trust me.

Dave

Jillian's would be a good idea for dinner.

And Spective, Dave's right - you're turning 21, and with everyone buying you drinks all night, you won't be able to avoid it!

Right On Spective... !!!

I hate getting totally wasted. I just had my 21st as well on Oct 1st and I got quite silly but not *obliterated* silly. I think thats soooo overrated! Why does everyone always insist on people getting so shitfaced they puke on themselves on their 21st?? Sorry I want to remember my birthday lol.

Plus, YOU WILL BE SEEING MARKUS and you want to remember THAT don't you??!!!!! Of course you do. I am so excited for you guys to see him; I promise you all won't be dissapointed and you'll see why we all FL TA'S <3 him so much!!! Have a blast... and HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY!!!! ( and what a PERFECT way to spend it!)

Stay Safe..

Love,
Rach
xoxo
