WOW CAW... he moved faster than your camera... slick. I knew the dude in the Puma gear had something special in his altoids case...

Good times overall.

Did you get her sig too? She really is pretty, and with that accent mmmmm
We managed to get those signed flyers for Ferry's mixed live cd that the moonshine guy was handing out. Very cool.

New MIKE track? The only ID we have left was the one that you thought was a remix of summer sun. Could that be it?

And yes i got her autograph and talked to her for a bit after the show. She was actually really cool.. and hot

ID could be Musix - Cyber Desire

It's a new MIKE production, Ferry's been playing it.

I'd heard that rumor was bullshit, that she wasnt really living in Chicago... In the last 6 monthes D:Fuse, DJ Rap, and a plethora of others were all rumored to be moving here...

That kid in the puma had some decent moves, he was a navy boy outta Great Lakes, was shipping out soon. If anybody saw him down on the right side of the stage, i was in the same vicinity dacing with him and my friends.

Your hearing it is bullshit is bullshit. I saw a friend of mine there that's into hip-hop and I said to him, "What are you doing here? You're not here to see her are you?" (pointing to Rap), and he replied "Dude, my boy's dating her," and explained that she's recording an album here blah blah blah.

Glad ya guys figured out that last tune. I've seen the vinyl for sale on chemical records for a while. I kept going back to them to buy turn out the lights and always saw that one. Its def. a good one. gonna dl that one now

Been too busy lately. Totally missed the fact that Ferry was coming. Hopefully there will be something cool in the area over winter break - I'd love to meet up with some you guys.

On another note, I hope Ferry didn't bring that shitty-ass DJ along from the Right of Way concert. That asshole ruined a great set.

Just looking through some old tunes--turns out the Musix tune was released way back in MAY on Promo Vinyl as Musix "Turn The Page". Same tune as Cyber Desire. Anyway, for those looking to DL this, if you're having trouble finding one title, look for the other.

I don't know about D:Fuse but Rap aka Theresa does live local now. I am friends with Steve Smooth her boyfriend and we have hung out a few times. Girl is no doubt cool as hell and down to earth... she just loves the music!

All i'm goin' by is mp3z. I have two rips of this tune. One is Forgotten / Turn The Page on Bonzai, and Turn The Page is the tune he played the other night. Another is apparently a one-sided promo with just Cyber Desire on Armada records, which is also the same track as Ferry played. Weird.

Posted by Black Irish on Nov-13-2003 04:32:

interesting, mine is white label...

hit me w/ a pm or on im if ya wanna hear the rips i have.

Sounds like a great night, Ferry was supposed to come to Detroit, but some other club out bid for him. After hearing about the afterparty in Florida you guys should of got a hotel room and had an afterparty with Ferry.
