Smile Tongue

hrmm, i listen to everything... i just started listening to trance like almost 2 years ago... i started out with oldie's...like late late 60's, 70's, some 80's shit..(not the cheesy crap)... umm, some punk also, not really alot. SKA is pretty kewl also...hrmm, im mostly just into trance and like 2 or 3 old bands... i also like early 90's music, like nirvana, and candlebox, sound garden, blind melon, etc. some swedish metal, death metal, black metal, some pop metal like HIM and stuff like that... i also like some hardcore bands, not really limp bizket, there sound was good at first, but in my opinion they suck now. you guys should check out this band 4lyn, there pretty awesome... but ya, i also listen to rap and hip-hop and stuff like that, ...i listen to everything like i said.. its all good if im in the right mood.

25% trance ( usually acid,hard or trancecore)
65% all other electronica (comprised mostly of techno)
10% everything else

though it would seem that 25% isn't a lot of trance ...all I do is listen to music (at work, sleeping, eating ,etc...)approx.2 hours a day i'm not listening to music the other 22 hours I'm listening to something...so that 25% suddenly becomes a huge amount of time listening to trance!

60% Trance, 40% Euro-Dance! ("Euro" as in "Russian" )

50% trance
40% techno
5% rock (like in green day and red hot chilly pepers)
5% hip hop and rap

Rasta

Well I can say I'm a very diversified music listener. I have always liked electronic music but just started getting into trance about a year ago. I pretty much listen to everything with the exception of country music. (I can't stand it)! I have a collection of over 1,500 cd's and still counting. I listen to everything from the beastie boys to staind, korn, sevendust, ozzy and even a little Mozart. I listen to rap sometimes but it usually gets on my nerves when the subject of blasting my gat and mackin the hoes with my bank roll is in every song. It gets to be overwhelming. I love trance music and listen to it often. Most of my friends can't stand it. Some like it but not all the time. Everything in moderation.

What do you hear when you play Country music backwards?

You get your car back, you get your wife back, you get your dog back, you get your job back, you even get your house back!!!!

i know exactly what u mean....that is why i am picky about rap...anyone can rap about money and hoes...bleh..nothing original about it at all...although jay-z is a fucking pimp...lol i like some of his stuff. but my favorite rap group is Outkast cuz their lyrics are just insane...they always got a cool story to tell. and it's not just like a steady repetitive beat with their songs...they use synthesizers and electric guitars and EVERYthing...love it.

my favorite music style is trance (what a miracle)
but i also like and hear all the other breakbeate styles, like techno, house, drumn bass, acid, hardcore, gabba, blabla...

each style has very good tracks, and the music im listen is like the feelings i have in me that moment.

when im aggresiv im listen to hardcore or gabba, but the most time im hearing trance and flying round the world...

i love tracks which combined more than one style. The best track ever is Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiesto Mix). This song is the perfect harmony between breakbeat and melodic trance with a beautiful female vocal. Ive never seen the girl who singing silence in tv, but i would marry her if shes as beautyfully as she sings!

i think each music style has great songs, but trance is the only style for dreaming, flying and good feelings all the time...

Smiling Frog nope not me...

WEll me, I like alot of TRANCE , it's been my number one for along time. But breaks/ uk hardhouse are also a couple of mah faves ..oh and I can never forget about techno, craZy ass beats is what I like. But as far as electronic goes, its all good shit. I listen to jungle and d&b alot, mostly when im blazin', its just fun that way, but There is no way I can bust-a-move to jungle, it seems almost impossible for me. But I like alot of alternative too, like staind, tool, and shit like that. All music is good music in mah book. As long as there's talent , I will enjoy it.

Maybe it's 'cause I'm from Canada, but I think Sarah is so hot. I love the eyes. Watch her in concert if you get the chance. A true performer.

Anyway, I love the acid jazz music that is coming out these days. Some really great tunes. Trance can get too... "progressive" for me sometimes. I like the uplifting feeling of house, and garage sometimes. We don't have a lot of garage listeners here do we?

As someone who used to listen to rock, I can say I am so happy to have found trance.....
