i would have been died like 10000 times, while hearing this live again! Thx Hon
...i miss you too.
just got back home. wow. track of the night for me was definitely this encore:
Ruff Driverz pres. Arrola - Dreaming (Percussion Mix)
Since the moment I heard the intro I started jumping and screaming "vamos a jugar en el soooool!". lol, that was a dream come true and i wasn't expecting it as an encore at 8:15am.
other highlights were confusion, beautiful things, face to face, born slippy and so many others but i'm too cracked out to remember now. gotta go to bed now, this was intense. later.

| Originally posted by Vlad I as well left early, but... It wasnt as good as I would have liked it to be. a. Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many people in there. Everyone was on top of each other, there was no room to breathe, which takes me to point b; b. THERE WAS NOTHING TO BREATHE! It was 200 degrees on the dancefloor, people had no respect for eachother and were smoking on the dancefloor, and I couldnt take it anymore so I hung out in the back; c. The sound in the club was not that good, the bass was sooo high that it drowned out ALOT of the songs that were playing. Paul's TL was good, alot of new stuff, although he made big boo-boo playing Nothing (93 Returning Mix) - someone email PvD and tell him to burn the record and forget it exists. Shouts to: Jay, Dani, Lee, Indy, Bri, John, Chris, Chris, Shanny, Tom, Brian, JP, Matt, mets0142, collbri, Highmay and whoever-else was there. |

super8 - alba
g&m project - sunday afternoon
paul van dyk vs second sun - crush (second sun edit)<-short bleepy synths that sounded like crush
lng - inter city?
i just wasn't feeling it. i liked central park better.
It was great seeing the usual crew, and meeting the Glow crew from PA. Yes, Paul definitely OWNED us, especially the last 2 hours when we actually had dancing room.
Negatives - the sound, the crowdedness, the smoking - ugh
Positives - everything else
Hopefully I'll recover in time for Fleming tonight...
i had a great time
sound system sounded awesome
Nothing was actually a highlight for me, i still love that song...
Definitely need an ID tho - The song right after Holding Onto Nothing-- VERY uplifting had the place go nuts (i know thats not a great descript since almost all his uptempo stuff fits that descrip) but if was definitely the song after Holding Onto Nothing. Any ideas?
Only TA i saw was Highmay and Lizzy but i'll definitely meet some more of you next time
Mike
ehhhh...
Nice Friggin Night
First off I had a blast!!!! Didn't leave till 8:30, so I definitely got my money's worth. I'm SOOOO upset that I missed the meet up, but the atmosphere in the club made up for it. I chilled near the back for most of it bc the front was just too crowded. I agree that the bass was overpowering. Song of the night for me was definitely Agnelli & Nelson pres. Ultra - Nothing. If that was how twilo was on a regular basis I could kill Rudy for shutting it down. N E way completely satisfied with the whole night. I don't know if I'll make it out for Nick Warren, I'm fried. Hope everyone had a blast. Only met one TA (Rubyred?) I wasn't being very social though, far too much redbull & vodka....
PvD owns me so hard, I had a great time...Born Slippy again!!! =)
I didn't see anyoneee though argg
I need to get some new friends or something to go parties with again - I'm getting tired of being by myself at these great events - haha i'm such a loser
Well, I'm beat, time to sit here like a zombie all day O_o
paul also played jason nevins - im in heaven (three drives remix) tune!
Anybody have a better tracklist for last night? He played a hella lot more than that in 6 1/2 hours.
All in all, it was an amazing night. PvD was having a blast up there, and dropped plenty of new stuff to keep me interested. I had such a good time!!!
weh
I'll I can say good set.. my first time hearing saint etienne song on the big phazons.. i just went mad.. for the rest of the night was good.. but to many fuggin nubbers being disrespectful thats all I can say. Fugging guys next to me were high like fruit cakes and kept on hitting my head.. I was about to punch their lights out but then I figured I was going to get kicked out too.. so what I did when the guy did it to me again I pushed him a bit and said calm the fuck down.. guy was like ok ok.. and then he starts doing that happy thing its all cool shit and I was like ya and I made a stupid smile and ignored him.
At least I met the some old TAs from last year's novemeber party. Vibe wasn't as good as last year, but I enjoyed or tryed to enjoy every minute of it. I found it less TAs then before and more cocked and fucked up bastards. Not the same without Arturo and the mods
Anyways.. thats second day for club night.. now its time to rest and weds will be the BPM release party! woot.. John, and Chris you better bring your demos. Be there before 9:30 cuz I dunno what the capacity limit is cuz its an industry only event vip party. So wear something nice(No sneakers sorry). If you got trouble just call me.

pics?
good party...good party.
good seeing the ppl, pyro the endless wanderer, danielle, brianna, TD, shannon, jdat, gary, clem, scott, and of course st0w my fellow wallhugger
...and some other new faces that i fail to remember names to...
it's all good tho. hehe
very very glad to hear some new stuff though, now i can go search for it.
2 tracks that were un-ID'ed...one that sounded totally like a hard remix or something from mike koglin vs darren tate - waiting. other one that was FUCKING hard and techy that paul played twice with this 3 note pattern in the build that just GOES INSANE....once around 5ish and then again around 7. KIIIILLLLLEEED me. if anyone has any clue wut i'm talking about...i have to find this song.
some other ids that i'm not positive about...i just got up and my mind is hazy. so correct me if i'm wrong...
Terry Bones - Closed Minds
Rafferty & Kerkshaw - Connected
Markus Shulz pres. Elevation - Clear Blue
anyhow, seems he really likes playing repeats tho....crush was repeated in its different remixes, as was the aforementioned tech-trance piece, and a proggy melodic piece that he played in the beginning and at the end. same with wundervoll and TOOL (o.g. and chilled) altho i'll give him those since they were pretty much encores.
oh well, all in all, still a good nite and i feel content for the weekend.

I thought it was really good, but I gotta agree with Vlad and NYCTrancefan: WAY too many people and WAY to freaking hot. I basically just stood and listened rather than danced because i had about 3 inches arpund me of free space and my new PVD shirty certainly got worked in on its first day with sweat. I saw a couple of TAsin front of the booth, didt intoduce myself though, sorry. Thought it was a blast though.
PS I dunno if she's a tranceaddict or not but her name was Amy, blond, with red shirt, anybody know her?

I cant understand how some of you could have such a good time. I understand seeing PvD is an overwhelming thing, but how do you over look the fact that it was impossible to do anything whether it be on the dancefloor or outback on the terrace, plus the fact that there is absolutely no ventilation. And than I dont know how some of you were able to ID some songs, because the songs were so drowned out within the bass that it was almost funny. Roxy made those Phazon's sound like shit.

i will be writing a ridiculous review at a later date, but let me just take a moment to say that i felt SO ALIVE last night and was happier than I have been in a long time. The set was just what I wanted from Paul. He played new stuff and old stuff, hard tunes and chill tunes. I remember standing in the back when he was playing "Reflections" and looking at the crowd..all the TAs...everyone smiling and dancing and I just wanted to fly (ps: i was sober, just high on pvd).
tracks that owned me:
Wavy Gravy
That's Life
Holding onto Nothing
No More rain
Wolfsheim - Wundervoll (Blank & Jones Remix)
Born Slippy (I love hearing that at roxy! the second time even better than the 1st! thx indy!)
Oh hell, it was just great! I was amped the whole time! I loved seeing everyone even though I missed a bunch of you! YES, it WAS hot, but you could totally go outside by the back bar and that was fine. You just had to find your space. And I had plenty of room and space later on.
Great time, great vibe, great people! I love you guys! PvD reaffirmed his position as my favorite DJ last night.
it was definately 2 billion degrees in the place...i remember turning around and seeing the whole entire place packed with people....there was no space @ all...reminds me of Avalon...my shirt was completely soaked...it was cool "talking" with paul
...sean thanks 4 the pages
...its cool that he took ur cd...hopfully he enjoys the tracks

I don't know how anyone could not be dancing when it came on. |
