MadTv is usually better than SNL, but SNL's celebrity Jeporday skits are absolute classics.

Unhappy

Without nicole sullivan, will sasso and deborah wilson, MadTV is nothing, I stopped watching it when will sasso lost weight.

It's a damn shame.

And I have never once laughed at SNL. I've watched it many times, even trying to force myself to like it.. but, I just cant.

agreed. nicole sullivan is a cutie

i actually think it's the original cast which made MadTV so good originally, they were really funny and talented, some of them went on to bigger and better things...but the people on the cast now just plain fucking suck, they have no apparent sense of humor, and they don't really have that ability to keep audiences (i.e., me) interested.

Red Green show on the other hand is hilarious. its amazing that they never seem to run out of funny material on redneck, backwood canadian humor. I'm thinking how many times can you do jokes on duct tape, but it never gets old because it has talented creative writers who don't take themselves that seriously.

Agreed.

Didn't know anyone from outside Canada ever watched that show.

It's clear that madtv targets a younger audience than SNL. Come on, you got to be sophisticated to understand a lot of the SNL sketches.

Therein lies the problem, folks! Both Mad TV and SNL suck! When will some network puke wake up and give us some entertainment for the "happy hours" around Saturday Night when everyone is partying! Like Trance!!!!
my thoughts...
