It kinda reminds me of Scot Project but not totally.

You're kidding, right?

I reckon Scot Project would kick your ass if he ever heard that track.

Hey everyone!!

I played my set and it went off!!!! The floor was pretty empty when I went on but by the end I managed to get it pretty full! I was so happy!

Simon came and told me as well that Central station want to release one of my tracks which is pretty cool!

I might be playing at Hard Kandy here in melbourne in a few weeks.

Thanks heaps everyone for your support, except sharpy.. god damn I hate negative people!

Posted by Sharpy on Nov-23-2003 12:48:

Cheers matey. I'm not being negative, i'm just criticising your work.

Posted by Paddlepop on Nov-23-2003 12:53:

Hey mate was that you in front of the stage at the end with your phone? After I packed up my stuff I realised I forgot to put your number into my phone because of my nervous-ness! I came back to see if you were still around but couldn't find you! Sorry mate!

Who says Criticism has to be?

Posted by Paddlepop on Nov-24-2003 13:02:

what is the use of criticism unless it is constructive?

Besides that didnt even fall under criticism, it was more like an insult.

Did you see the set?

I DID!!!

fark mate, despite freezing my nads off in the pourin rain i was still able to enjoy the shit you were churning out. you can hold your head up high cos when i told my mates all the songs were your own creations they were in disbelief (either that or there faces were frozen to look like they were in disbelief). sorry couldnt catch up with you but my arm fell off midway through the set due to frostbite.

and paddles mate, sharpy knows his music and i dont think he intended it to be an insult. i'll be honest and say i dont agree with the scot project reference but it doesnt mean i dont agree with the overall production value. keep it comin.

LOL.

Alright.

Constructive criticism: For future reference, try not to list a particular artist as one of your influeneces, and then almost completely rip off said artist's style and expect nobody to pass judgement.

Capisce?

PS if you feel insulted i think you have chosen the wrong industry to have a crack at.

Posted by Paddlepop on Nov-25-2003 06:01:

The reason I listed a particular artist was to give people an idea about what to expect, I was not saying that my tracks were a carbon copy of one artist which they definatley are not.

I didn't want someone expecting something like Warp brothers or something when downloading the song and then wasting their time.

I don't know what your problem is mate but your acting like a complete smart ass. I wouldn't care if you said you didn't like the song but acting like that is just totally uncalled for.

I've been 'Having a crack at it' for 5 years and your not the first person to try and get me down, trust me. I wouldnt care if everyone hated my tracks or were as god damn negative/cold as you are, I would still do it as its my fav pass time. Any success I get is a bonus.

Capisce?

P.S If I got this all wrong and you didn't mean to sound like a smartass/wanker or egocentric then I apologise
