Ummmmmmmm Gabriel and Dresden is NOT straight prog. Listen to anything by Andain or Motorcycle and tell me that. Or listen to any one of their Global Dj Broadcast sets and tell me it's prog. Navid man, you should listen to some of it before caling it something it's not...

Their remix of Beautiful Things is probably my track of the year...and their Essential Mix from 09-03--03, especially the end, is awesome...that's enough to get me to go!

They can't possibly be any worse than Deep Dish live. Love their production work, but the last two times I saw them...yuck.

You're basing it on purely becuase you don't like their music.(which I don't get considering Armin has been blasting the shit out of their type of music, same with Tiesto.) So if you hate Gabriel and Dresden you hate what Tiesto drops. This is like me not liking happy hardcore and saying it will automatically be shit even though I am not into that style of music even thoughit still might be a good show. I know Armin and Tiesto has been playing G&D's tracks,and I think it really ruins the set I must say.plus Armin isnt my fav dj,but I dont mind him either.So just because Tiesto drops one bad song Iam not gonna hate the guy. about your happy hardcore example,I agree with you,but you see I DID listen to Prog beofore,and tried to like it and I just couldnt stand it,it is the most boring music I've ever heard,and thats just my opinion.

If they were doing some sort of Live PA, I'd be there in a second. I still want to go, just because it's G&D and I love their work, but then again, it's just a DJ set... and even if their mixing is improved, that's not what's so spectacular about them.

I don't know, tough decision. If it's the same price as a regular spin night, might be worth it.
