Some people here doesn't like producers who are popular. "They are to much over-hyped", I see that every day in here. What the fuck is wrong with popular producers?

Tiesto is "cheesy"
As The Rush Comes and Gabriel and Dresden are "over-hyped"

Well, Tiesto is number 1 DJ, so I can say he's def not cheesy. As The Rush Comes is the most popular song of this forum of this year.

Gabriel and Dresden have two songs in the top 10 of this forum this year. I can't understand you are doubting their quality of music!

Their productions are mediocre, their mixing skills are excellent, but their sets are boooooooooring ... evven though I don't like too much of hard trance ... their sets just put me to sleep ... I'd give them 6/10 rating.

I think they're excellent, but at the same time over-hyped.

i think their tunes are alright, some of them.

but overhyped is definatly a word i'd use.

i personnaly dont like there style of music its to boring for me i prefer more harder tunes than what they tend to produce

I still remember there was a poll voting for H&H , H2J and G&D about 1 and a half year ago. And almost no one voted G&D. I couldn't remember since when they'd got so much hype on and every track that with G&D tag became important news on TA...

Till now, I liked some of their productions, and hated a lot too. And quite a few of them aren't close to be classified as progressive at all.

Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden have done excellent remixes also I like some of this sets especially the essential mix (09-03-2003). About their productions I've not heard any.

I used to like them, but I've gotten a bit tired of their sound. Still a big fan of Beautiful Things (G&D Remix) though!

i think they are amazing
there mix of way out west - mindcircus got me into them
then there mix of andain - beautiful things
absolutely quality
they do the best remixed
what about that bootleg, serendipity and that Red hot chilli peppers tune they made. wow!

oh yeah i agree with that also.
A lot of their sets are boring,
very housey and slowwwwwww
