Its funny because people will say that Tiesto and Oakenfold suck, even though probably everybody at TA listened to them and liked them at one time. Now, they get popular and they suck, so they go find less heard of people. Then, when they become popular, they will suck. I just dont get why people cant like stuff w/o being flamed for it.

I just don't like the fact that so many people are juding music based on what other people think of it and how popular is is. Judge each song on an individual basis, don't care what other people think, make your own decision, but be prepared to back up why you like or dislike it. For example, as the rush comes, beautiful things, time of our lives, etc are all GREAT songs. yes, they're getting overplayed, but that doesn't make them any worse, and also does not deminish the talent it took to produce them.

We're all on here because we love trance music, not because we hate particular djs or producers.

anyway, just my $.02

in my opinion... i hate paul vandyk, i hate tiesot, i hate ferry , i hate armin!! all those djs was my favorite djs 2 -3 years ago when i started lsitening trance music!!! but after i realised that the type of trance that i really like are not played be those djs!!

all those big name djs almost play only commercial pop trance and its very rare that you will see ferry armin or tiesto play some good hard melodique trance like they did before!, now its always and only progressive trance, and i found that music so bored

comercial pop trance is pretty much the opposite of progressive

ok, i'd better shut up with the hate already. especially when i agree with you people that we bash a bit too much on producers, after these two years of messing up with fruityloops and VST's and realizing every day i'm never gonna have the skills to be a professional producer, it makes me think how much hard work these guys have to make tracks that suck.
