Holey CRAP was it ever packed and the coatcheck line .... .. Is there any way to get VIP

I had an AMAZING time at this party. I wasn't sure if I would have a good time because I was getting over a cold but it was the exact opposite.
The music was kickin and the vibe was awesome. It was great seeing you all, and meeting new ones as well!

Sounds like a good time...i got there at like 1. Waited for my buddies with the tickets and the one that had them all bailed. I only had $25 with me at the time and did not wanna drop another 40 for entry so i went to see Oakenfold....fuck what a horrible night...oakenfold was alright at best, decent track selection, mixing was meh, WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Limited Capacity - please buy early to avoid disappointment. A limited number of wristbands will be available the night of for access between both events.

Just chilled for most of oakies set and then it cleared up a little when Mark came on. Mark was sweet as usual, so that made up for the night a little...

I got there at around 1. Oakies set was alright. WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE....totally killed the night....Mark was insane....who ever was in the drink was amazing...i walked in there for a change and loved it!!

LOL at you sig Vivid Boy... actually there was a survey where Italian women were rated as the least satisfied out of all.. maybe they just too horny?

wasn't there *(~* but heasrd it was too crowded.... Some had to wait hours to get into the different rooms... not really kewl when DJ's R only spinning for so long - but all of you that went - I hope you had fun! !!! There was and still is an after party goin on here - so - I will talk to you soon!

Yup Sven was the better dj on this night!
he had me moving throughout the entire set. Mauro had me moving then chilling then moving again (he usually does this in his sets). BUT no one has better build ups than mauro! I think sven should of closed but what the fuck do i know?

So many complainers, "too packed, too hot, too many ginos, too many positive people enjoying the night, except for me because the E I got was bad" stop complaining and enjoy the show.. be positive leave the negativity at the door. I have been going to these things for years and never complained. We are lucky in TO that we have one of the best clubs in the world that brings the best Djs in the world.

Oakies set was a very good set and the dj before him was very good, not exactly my style at times, but very good.

Does anyone know the first couple songs he played???

Got inside the Guvernment at about midnight.
It was already packed like crazy.
So I went to find out how much was the wristband to get into KH.
$35!!!
Too much for me.
So I decided to see what's going on in the washroom corridor from KH to Orange Room. Luckily for me they just blocked the corridor, but didn't lock the door
So I was able to see Sven spin for about half an hour before heading back to the Guvernment for the start of Oakenfold's set. Sven was good, but I wouldn't say that he was amazing. But then I only saw him for half an hour and it was right after I got in when I wasn't feeling the vibe as good yet.
I saw the start of Oakenfold's set, but couldn't take it longer than 15 minutes in the Guvernment. I've never seen it as packed as it was yesterday! You know, I don't mind grinding against girls, but not guys! But seriously, if there was a fire in the Guvernment last night, at least half of the people would have stayed there forever.
Since I couldn't take it inside the Guvernment and I was worried that if I got into KH I wouldn't be able to get back to the Guvernment where my friends and my jacket was, I stayed in Charlie's for most of the night. The DJ(s) there was throwing down some nice breaks.
But after some time I got bored of staying in Charlie's and decided to try to get in KH. I saw Mauro spin from 3 till 4. I gotta say that I loved what I heard, and the vibe was just so awesome!!
I had a pretty good time overall.

P.S. Just because I have a bottle of water in my hand and I dance like crazy doesn't necessarily mean that I'm on E.

WOW... Great night, I thought both sets were awesome. Deko ze did a great job warming things up as well. Crowd was really friendly. Finally got to meet some more TA's, every time I go to Toronto there just seems to be more and more of you! You guys rock! Sexy Persian glad you had fun here in Toronto, had a great time partyin with you! Halo 20, glad you came out??? LOL... Shouts to everyone, Cono sur, Neon Alien, tatgirl, Mr Rogers, Techno addict, desidel, those are the few i can remember everyone else you know who you are. In closing, quite possibly the best night i ever had at guv. Ccant wait to see some pics!

- seeing Sarah ACTUALLY DANCE! shock horror!

Ok so to be honest, I thought Picotto was really really NOT my type of music. He actually gave me a headache. He had his moments and for the most part the crowd worshipped him. But ultimately I felt like his mixing was incredibly sloppy and he lulled (down time filler tracks) more than any set I've even seen spun in my life. Really lacked the energy that Sven had. You know how Mauro does that thing where he moves his hands and mouth to the weird sounds in his tracks? Well it annoys ME SO BAD. I feel like I'm watching some 2 year old dance in front of his family at christmas dinner. God he looks stupid.

BUT (imo) the reason Mauro was so blah for me, was because Sven rocked the house. SOOO DIRTY AND SOOO ELECTRO. Effin loved it! He had me dancing my ass off and at many times you could tell the experience and talent behind this guy. From the first track (opener) Sven had me pretty much shaking my head in disbelief at how original his programming was. HOWEVER, I felt like Sven didn't really PUSH the envelope and bring us to that "other level". Meh

Mauro = 6/10
Sven = 8.2/10

What made this party an overall 9/10 for me was the wicked crew we had going. The party in the back end of the club was awesome. So many ta's and so many new faces (usally because I'm at home in my underwear during the techo nights).

P.S DEKOZE FOR PRESIDENT. The guy is always on his game.

heh I don't think I'm even making it out for UltraSpin 3. And I wouldn't want to be responsible for Sarah having a bad night, it's bad enough how she treats me (le sigh) during an apparent good night.

I had a great time, I'm always in a good mood when I get to see
Deko-ze spin, and he had me moving early off in the night. Sven Vath was amazing, opened up really well and steadily got harder and dirtier from there.....99.9 was definitely the highlight of the night for me. Picotto was good, but as many have mentioned already he wasn't as good as Vath. I found that he started off good, but then dropped it down a notch, and by the time he brought it back up I was too tired to care.

I've been craving a kickass killer techno party like this for a lonnnnnng time....but I've been reading the reviews and a lot of Ta's are disappointed with Picotto ...I don't blame you....but as far as techno goes....it's hard to spin constant sweet ass shit for 4 hours....if there were only more demand for the music...I find it hard to shop for vinyl
but if Picotto got 2 hours like Vath....he probably would've played just as good if not better....but either way

I had an amazing time....Picotto did lag a bit here and there but picked it right back up again in minutes....and there were a few tracks that did sound very similar but oh well....it was great
no real complaints really ... which is different
everything just ran smooooooooooothly
which is nice for a change
great seeing everyone again....love partying with you guys
