In Finland they don't call them "diet" sodas, they're "light" sodas.
And that's exactly how they taste - bland.

"pop" is used in the Great Lakes region, on both the US and Canadian side. "soda" is used everywhere else in North America.

I run a 'good amount' too. I love diet coke and YES it does taste better, regardless of what you people say.

I try to limit my intake, the problem with caffeinated drinks is that they dehydrate your body. Drinking water and juice IS healthier indeed.

I HATE regular soda.

It's pop here as well. I never had any problems with this until I went to Arizona and asked for pop. They just looked at me like "wtf?!?" So I just started asking for soft drinks...soda sounds too weird.
