cognac and brandy are supposed to be placed into a large bowled glass and "warmed" by cupping hand underneath and swirled. And sipped.

Here in Virginia, all hard liquors are sold in ABC (alcoholic beverage control) stores. I dont know how many of you in other states or countries or watever handle your liquor. Actually in Maryland when we went to Ocean City a little Mom n Pop General Store was selling everything! Vodka, rum, whiskey, bourbon etc..

Anyhoo we were getting some 151, and the clerk asks what we were making. We said what do u mean? We're gonna get crunked.

He says "You're gonna mix it with anything?"

We say "No, we're gonna take shots"

He says he's never heard of anyone taking shots of 151 or to drink 151 to get drunk. He says the people that come in and buy 151 mainly use it for cooking, since its highly flammable.. I guess people can make flambes or such.

Anyhoo. thats my story.

Oh and I dont drink, so this thread is irrelevant to me.

We use 151 for flaming dr. peppers but i've found a cheaper way to easily flame some amaretto which is buy putting a shot glass full of amaretto into the microwave for about 13 seconds then light it up, all the alcohol or whatever floats to the top so its easily flammable.

Yeah Flamin Dr Peppers are awesome too.

We've broken so many shot glasses doing it, because we would light it on fire and then leave it and admire it for a couple seconds. lol

Hmm, i may have to try your microwave theory..perhaps

Flaming Dr. Peppers are evil, I've never wished to die except for the night I drank too many of them.

Liquid Cocaine sounds damn good, I'll have to try that one. I'm mostly a beer drinker.
