I assume we're talking the Ambassador remix, and then I agree, with the possible exception of Aaron Carter "Dance Naked" yeat again in an Ambassador remix. Perhaps an old Nalin & Kane remix like Energy 52, Capricorn or Da Hool could compete...Don't know...it depends on my mood.

In complete agreement with tu-face about James Holden being the bassline god (I seem to remember saying exactly the same thing in the HoM forum about 6 months ago in reply to the exact same topic). The man's brilliant, no doubt about it.

As for the best bassline I've ever heard, well, sorry Jimmy, that goes to:

Fisher Project - I Get a Rush (Moogwai vs Chab Remix)

Oh my lordy, it's just this deep, hard, churning bass from start to finish (the vocals are really cool as well). It'd blow the speakers in any club.

HEY! Don't piss me off. Bonzai is N.O.T. Italian! Bonzai is still and allways will remain Belgian!

Mr. Bonzai

Smile Tongue

I quite like the bassline to Cominotto - Species. Very simple but effective. Agent Sumo - 24 Hours would be an obvious choice for a memorable bassline, because it basically IS the song.

trancenation,

i said italian influenced, doesn't bonzai have an italian devision, well than that's what I meant.

there's always has to be someone who just has to segregate,

WHO THE FU(K GIVES A SH*T!

any Ferry tune...i love his Bassline.... I think the Bassline is one of the most important or The most important feature of any song..no matter rock,rap,trance....... it supports the melodies, beats, and the whole character in the song ...... There are many Crappy Epic/Uplifting songs out there that sound unprofessional....but listen to a Corsten Production wheather its SYStem F, Gouryella,etc..... u can really say these are quality productions well made and layed out....and the main reason i would have to say is the bassline...its so strong yet giving....but brings character to his songs...... Ferrys basslines is totally signature to his style.... thats why i say when u listen to the Gouryella productions u can hear that Tiesto doesnt have that much influence to the songs then Ferry.... just of the Bassline.....

"..the humpty dance is your chance to do the hump!!! Oh-Oh, do me BABY!!!!" hahahahahahhahahaha

now THAT is a bassline...

a-doooo-werrrr-a-dooooo-wup , a-doooooo-werrrr-a-dooooo-wup!

LoL, peace!

PQM- Nameless (Chab version 2 mix)

It was one of the first things that came to mind when pondering this question, but it has such an awesome and intense bassline, I felt the need to post it.
