Danny Tenaglia's WMC party at Space has been legendary for years. He does 12-14 hour sets which attracted every single person in Miami as well as all the industry people (I bumped into Armin+Tiesto+Ferry there, then Digweed and Cox) so believe me, that party is not just Danny headlining space..

The mayor tried last year to close down Ultra, but got stone walled by city comissioners and fire marshal. Since the event is put together so well by organizers, the mayor had nothing to really shut down the event with.

I know that they tried to shut down the Labor Day Ultra event, but again they could not find a legitimate reason.

Anyways, I hope that the event is not the 6th - 11th. That's just too soon and just seems and odd schedule for WMC. Ultra or no Ultra, why would you end a conference on a Thurs? *sarcasm* With a big Thursday event in Miami? */sarcasm*

sooooooooooooo psyched about WMC 04. Last year was my first time down in Miami, and the minute we got there, we decided we'd definitely be back for 04. I'll be spending the whole week down there this year.... omg, what a vacation... haha.. Also gonna be involved in at least one or two events going on. If there's enough of a crowd going, there definitely should be some type of TA related event. I know there's gonna be a ton of us down there, and I'm sure somebody's already posited something. Let's do it up.

WMC 03 was one of the best weeks I've had in my life. CONSTANT partying. Didn't hurt that there was a huge conglomerate from a particular web station staying in one hotel, with decks in the lobby. hehehe And an open bar because we were pulling so many people :-D

My roommate just called WMC and they did not agree or disagree to the date of 6-11. But they will post the offical date on Friday on the WMC site.

Let's hope DJmag is wrong and that it's aournd the date of 16th-21th. Friday cannot come any sooner....

Thanks Arturo, I knew you could give some confirmation on this. We called the WMC office and they did not deny or confirm the date of 6-11. Mainly said to check the site on Friday.

Are you going to hold on the date til Friday also Art?

Please, please, please let us know when it is. Am I right about WMC being 16th til the 21th?
