I know you're more intelligent than that. Ok just in case let me explain, it's simple:

In a normal "top 10 tunes" thread the probability of getting a shitload of idiotic suggestions is very VERY high; by restricting the possibility only to those who have been registered at least 2 years, theres no chance to get those idiotic suggestions.

Plus, the members who never post in this kind of threads will be encouraged to do it this time, because their lists won't be reduced to the level of those noobs' top 10 lists.

It is actually a good idea. If it is applied to polls we would get unbiased results (in fact because of THIS poll the idea originally came to my mind), and just imagine if it was applied to a "Tune of the year" thread, do you think ATRC would be # 1?

The only problem with the "restriction" is the people who will feel discriminated, and that's why I explained everything in the first post, but it seems some individuals didn't understand it and well look, the thread is going down.

Most members of these forums tend not to post in this type of thread based on the fact that there is a different one each week.

The basic fact is that if you had asked everyone for their top 10 tunes, you would have got some good top 10s, and some shit top 10s. This way, all you've gotten is flamed.
