-- Hernan Cattaneo - Renaissance Masters (2 CD)
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
Finally bought this album!
It's just an amazing compilation IMO. So many good tracks in there, especially CD1, one of the best CD's I heard in a while.
Highly recommended!
awesome cd,i think i like cd 1 better though. nice and laid back.
I bought this cd a few weeks ago and since then I have given it a couple of spins but I'm not really feeling this as much as I hoped... maybe it's just a bit too housey for my taste. Both cd's have their moments though... the finishing track on cd1, PQM's Aenema, is a beautiful laid back house tune with lush female vocals and a guitar. The highlight track for me on cd2 would be Steve May's Open Day (forthcoming on EQ Grey later this month) which is a really good prog house tune with some nice melodic hooks and deep baseline. Kind of reminds of some Holden and Chable tunes. Anyway, in overall I'd give this 7/10. Hopefully the next Renaissance mix from Seaman and Phil K rocks a bit more after two housey comps...
Well when i said when i was going to buy it.. well i did buy it
Hernan didn't dissapoint me at all.. been a fan of this guy for quite a while. I let my friends sample it and they enjoyed it. I enjoy cd2 the most. AWSOME CD. buy iT!!!
Just got this CD a few weeks ago, it's an amazing progressive cd mixed in perfection. Really like the first cd and the second is amazing as well ending perfectly with the Wrecked Angle mix of Age of love. 9.5/10
