but recently, the only remixes that he's gotten praise for are ALREADY hit songs. He just changes a note, adds "the beat", signs a contract and gets a quarter million dollars for a pretty much repackaged song. I mean cmon. there is definently a lot of difference in the quality of his remixes compared to the likes of other artists. It sounds like he puts the same time and effort into his remixes as he puts into his "edits". 20 minutes for 20 grand
isn't it offensive to other artists trying to get their name out with innovative, creative, original work created with blood sweat and tears?

haha. i love how y'all are so gullible about me. if i didnt like a person i wouldnt:

1: go to a club, hang out, as well party with them.
2: i wouldnt by the records or play some of the tunes they play.
3: you definitely need to distinguish between a message board and real life barrier, otherwise you are 'stuck' within both being a sort of 'matrix'

cheers.

saw tiesto 4 times this year, met him once. saw armin 3 armin this year, met him all 3. and saw paul 10+ and met him 2.

now guys, seriously, you need to get a clue about me and try not to get fooled so easily.

:-*
cheers,
arty

this is my point once again:
you speak of pvd's RECENT remixes... there are none! the ones i listed before are like all the official remixes he has done in two years!

the last one was starchaser- falling star...and surely this is no typical pvd beat or bassline, whether you like it or not.

I won't say that PVD is better or less than other artists out there, but i think his time has come for him to try and break the rules of trance once again and blow us away.

Nowadays whenever breaks he the rules, such as say working with a german hip-hop artist to write one of the tunes on "reflections", he gets shit for it from everyone. That's on top of all the shit he gets from people who say he needs to break the rules more often. The only reason he was considered to be breaking rules then and not now is because his style was new back then, and it's not anymore.
