Hey Tristan, it's Colin. Glad to see you finally registered on here.
"OMFG" is all I have to say!! What a party! So much energy! I can't go to sleep! The music was brilliant! I can't say there was a single song I did not like. What did you guys think?
Merry Christmas to all my fellow TA's!
(To Colin: It's a solid community. I should have joined much sooner. I will write more privately.)
Interesting Set
My friend Leif and I went - 1st time going to Crobar - I loved the sound - so clean and clear - then again it is Phazon - but i believe sound in Crobar is much more clean then Roxy - not Arc though, but definitely Roxy - cuz i get major migraine if i stand like right in front of dj booth at roxy for more then half an hour.
Anyhoo - back to Yahel - 1st 45 minutes felt like he was testing out crowd - and he might have been a bit anxious or something - i think it was 5 tracks into the set - he played his production with Eyal Barkan - Voyage - then he was playing what i would call uplifting prog that tries to sound like deep prog but just isn't for next hour or so - then his set picked up a lot - corner where i was most of nite were all ppl who knew what was up too - so it made it kinda fun - overall tho - crowd is too much like Exit a bit. Crobar definitely has potential - i hope they get Erick Morillo to play a few one-off nights there (since i know he plays at Discotheque i think on a residency basis) - and I've never seen him (well there is always Ibiza to look forward to later this upcoming summer) - Yahel kept it going quite strong till little after 5 in morn when he signed off to one of the other 2 Dj's scheduled to play - only thing I was a little upset about is he played Voyage but not Open Your Mind.
