This is going to be a hilarious interview, I think I'll be required to put it online!
Anyway, thanks guys. There's about a week left to get your questions in, so keep 'em comin!

When BPM ran the Americas Favorite DJ poll last year, Armin's management called the magazines office panicking because Armin had been cheating.

The problem was that Armin had done tons of votes (enough to put him in the top five), but he didn't realize that the votes had to be validated. So all these votes showed up, unvalidated - which looked really suspicious. Armin's management was scared that BPM was going to say something and begged them not to - and ultimately BPM agreed (although that didn't stop BPM telling people they knew about it).

How the fuck do you know that it was Armin and not a die hard fan that wanted him to get in the top 5 ?

Because it was Armins management who called the magazine and admitted that it was Armin who had done the fake votes.

They were just trying to help the guy out and stop it getting into the magazine.

what does he think of the state of trance music nowadays? people are saying that it is all just a bunch of formulatic stuff, does he agree?

is he ever planning to come to Portugal?

I heard the story direct from the source - one of the editors at BPM.

The ironic thing was that BPM hadnt even noticed the unvalidated votes - it Armins management who let the cat out of the bag in the end. Too funny.

I would like to know more about that producer/dj study that's he planning to do together with Ben Liebrand here in Holland. If this study really starts are they planning to get students from outside the country.
