I had submitted several of my demo mixes to Glow, so I assume that had something to do with it.
I was at work all night on Friday and I get off at like 1am and I look at my phone and I have a couple IM's from Gio and Joel talking about me being booked at Glow and I'm like WTF!?!?
So as soon as I get home I goto the Glow forum and I have a PM from Pete about it, and also an email from Gerald.

Yeah reuben, hopefully i'm be able to show up. Gotta find out if i work that night or not, and if i can find a ride. I still dont know how to get to glow, yujie always takes me =P.

Yujie doesn't like techno, but I might be able to persuade him to go.

I'm freaking depressed

but

there is some good news to come out of it

the reason it is cancelled is because Glow is finally moving out of Insomnia
Ferry on the 27th will be the last Glow night @ Insomnia
they are moving to a new club (location undisclosed) that is supposed to be massive, and it is NOT tunnel.
so all the waiting is finally over...Im just fucking pissed that they had to choose NOW to move, when I finally get a break
I need a damn gig!!!

I'm thinking about setting up a party somewheres

Damn that sucks man but hey at least they're rescheduling you in March!

As for Glow moving... bout damn time! ill keep it on the DL tho, thanks for the update

Don't sweat it. It might be better in March cause more people might be in town. Your original date for January might've not been so well attended just cause of the time of the year and all. I could be wrong. I'm just speculating here.

Be sure to provide a way for your peeps to get in for free. The more people you invite to your set the better the atmosphere. I can tell you from experience there's nothing worse than throwing down a slammin' set and having nobody around to appreciate it. Part of that excitement comes by feeding off the people's energy.
