Nevermind i got it, i had to remind my wmp9 that it does play those file types. ..... I agree, retarded video. I could of made that video 10 times better all i woulda needed is the cameras, and that chick. Woulda asked some of my friends to star in it and asked someone to lend me a motorcycle !!

If your updated Windows Media 9 player aint working then consider turning of your firewall. Either that or something else is your default player and you need to figure out why the codec isnt running in your player.
oh..and i agree with popular consensus...the video is a pointless disappointment for being "one of" the best choons of '03.
It looks like a 3 min clip of a girl having a seizure while ATRC plays
What i see that most of us expected some kind of "OMG it is fantastic" video, and what we got is an average video.
I think all the "why" question is answered in this tread : the budget.
The clip has some good things, so we can't say it is a bad one. First of all it is one of the best song of 2003, lots of ppl like it, and there is finally a video from our favourite song 
We have seen lots of worse videos.
But there are more bad things. There is runing girl in the clip. Have you noticed that in the most of the trance/dancwe clip there is someone runing ? Think about an Pvd clips, Darude, etc. Although the original song is balancing between the pop and progressive, the clip makes it pop-like : the dancing, the singer is in the focus and the producers in the background, and it is a so-called radio cut (only the "sing" part were left, the instrument parts were cut). And of course we have expected some mindblowing video
It is an interesting idea to what videoclip can we make if we have low budget. What kind of video we might like ?
Idea 1:
Lots of amateur camera stuff, with Josh and Gabriel talking about the song, scenes from livesets, jes singing, etc.
Idea 2:
More complex story. For example Jes and some man walking in the park, etc. kind of "romantic" video
Idea 3:
Let's make a clip with no connection between the lyrics and the video.
A good example is the videoclip of Delerium - Innocente (dj tiesto mix)
Anyone else think Jes looks almost like Sarah Jessica Parker?
Mainly because of the huge nose.

Wow, it's just some girl singing about how good her roll is while flailing about. At least they succeeded in making a video which reflects how good the song is.
that movie fucking sucks. I didn't even watch the whole thing.

I understand that the budget was low, but the thing is that it took place in 1!!! spot. Also, talk about it not making sense because this video made NO sense. Don't get me wrong i love the song, and i thought that regardless of the reviews that when i saw the video i would like it a bit.... Didn't happen. Take all these other videos for example. The Suburban train was a good, a bit graphic but good. System F Ft. Armin Van Buuren - Exhale. I think this is an AWESOME video and i don't think they spend a crapload of money on that... This is just my opinion.

I dont know what to think of the video. It's just weird. It is like watching a slideshow of a chick dancing. Where are Josh and Dave at? I didnt see them in there.
That video did not made any sense to me. Only 3 minutes of waving hands, though I liked the 'effect' when 5 boxes lighted up behind the dancers.

To be fair, a lot of trance video's you see on music television usually involve people dancing around in a "location" (beach, warehouse, house) to the tune with the vocalist getting the main focus.
This video follows the standard set by other videos. It doesn't do anything different. I mainly like the trance video's i see cos they're good tunes and there is a fit bird singing 
If you downlaod the video clips from www.eurodancehits.com you will see that most of the videos are the same sort of thing.
The best trance music vids are definately the animated Vincent De Moor ones 
The ATB 9 pm til i come video is good, as it tries to tell a story, and the production is quite good (like a mini movie)
there was also some video by Mauro Picotto about some woman who turns into a beast lizard that was quite good.
I think this vid is fine, its probably G&D's first visual outing into the mainstream world, and that is all that matters
2 things:
1. the video would've been more pleasurable if they used the "running person" cliche and had someone run somewhere
2. you all suck.

the vid would be ok if she wasnt flailing her arms so much. great tune though, the video just could have been a lot better. shame
