Maybe someone should remix an old classic tunr of his into dance style lol..

This winter not too cold - that song...

haha yeah that would be pretty cool
Another good remix would be "I've waited till the flowers die" - sad song - a Ferry Corsten or Solar Stone remix would sound nice.

lol.

I wish the Cantonpop scene would just try and be as cool as Jpop such as bringing in western producers to spice up their tracks.

Cantonpop is dead, no one buys the cd's no more and the overall productions of new artists is like manufactured wank!

So true.

I was a chinese pop addict before I got into trance, but I stopped listening around 1999-2000.
Where as the Jpop industry seems to be booming

It's a shame really, the golden years of HK-pop in the early - mid 90's were great. The songs back then focused more on melody rather than texture (now). Those melodies would devistate us all with trance mixes.

you know i used to run a bootleg chinese remix music site www.simtub.net, had a lot of sampled hardhouse style remixes crossed with cantonpop...u might have heard a few in some asian nights..

but i kinda lost the drive to do it back in 2001..again, same reason as you, the music just wasnt worth mixing no more..
