sometimes afraid to play airbase in the car cause it'll give me a rush and might just step on it without realizing it. you find yourself getting so caught up with teh music.

last night I was speeding to armin van buuren's IDT (11-06-03) set, it was WAY too loud and coulden't hear my radar detector go off..

so now i'm stuck with a $200 excessive speeding ticket.

I always listen to some Hard Trance, D n B, or Breakbeats in the car.I remember listening to a George Acosta set and he played Talla 2xlc-innocence, Digital Pressure-Aftershock(Alphazone Remix), Spider-Striker, and F.Massif-Understatement, those tracks just made me go nuts. Also my college radio station plays D n B on tuesday nights, gets me driving superfast home from class. Also these Florida Break cd's i have from dj icey, and baby anne mixed live in las vegas are perfect for my system.

If you have good subwoofers:

Chemical Brothers - Under the Influence

the bass vibrates the entire car, it's really pretty damn cool!! Actually a few years ago when I had a crappy 94 taurus with no system...it still shook the hell out of that! It's not really a great song, you just got to listen to the first 30 seconds to understand what's so great about it (:

Posted by Psionic on Feb-15-2004 14:02:

Electronic Battle Weapon 6 is also really good for the car, I must check out that Under The Influence track though

Posted by UnBracKo on Feb-15-2004 16:23:

In my car I always listen to trance or techno sets. I prefer listen to sets instead of random tracks.

Posted by vtec junkie on Feb-15-2004 16:32:

Depends on what im in the mood for. I just bought a new mp3 player for my car so im always listening to live sets. Singles just dont cut it for me in the car. But ive been blasting Ferry's recent sets in my car. Trance Energy and Essential Mix to be exact!!! But i really have to watch......that shit makes you wanna drive FAST and i cant afford to get any more speeding tickets.

my friend thought a plane was passing over us when I played this years ago.And I didnt even have the volume up too high.Awesome song that BASS alone makes the song good.

Posted by contemplator on Feb-15-2004 22:46:

i think it varies by the size of the car and the sytem in the car, if the system compliments the car/sound etc; or if the sound is compressed or not...

Posted by Stasis on Feb-15-2004 22:49:

Excellent choice with "Chemical Brothers - Under the Influence". That track has been like my "show off" song to people for quite some time now.

Here's another awesome thing to try. If you're ever driving though a city at night, definitely blast:

Sasha - Xpander

Something about nighttime, neon city lights and that song all combine to make a really sick experience. Try it!
