Do you have any reliable sources that tell you this? That would be so incredibly sweet. The way I beatmatch a record is by first making the new record faster, and then touching the side of the platter to slow it down while I change the pitch control. If they could get the dial to spin so I can use the same method, that would be amazing!

Nothing's sure... it's just rumors... but it will take time untill the mark 2 will come out..
Another thing they should do which would be pretty badass is have a pin coming out of the center of the display that rotates on its own, and you can spin it faster or slower just like you would when correcting a turntable..

how does this stack up a Stanton S-500 Dual CD Player.. its also 300$
sylphin, i wouldnt really recommand on that stanton because it doesnt have a jog wheel. you really need it for those small correnctions along the way... it makes it so much easier.
You get what you pay for, if you buy a very cheap deck you'll get a very poor quality deck. simple as that.
finally!!! some CD DJ's in here!!!! anyway, here's my opinion:
I'm using a Gemini CD-240. I've never been more satisfied from a CD player. it's a dual CD player with so many functions..... designed for the ametuer DJ and for the pro DJ as well...... I have no idea how much it costs in the US or anywhere else in the world, but it shouldn't cost more than 800-900$........ I think you should get that one......... very recommended.......
