merry christmas everyone! even leafs fans!

Ok well you guys are right and this is probally a hugh jinx, but one thing some of you are missing is your heart. It is one thing to jump on the banwagon but if you uys really want things to go well you need to have faith in them, I know I do! Hockey has always been a major part of my life and the Leafs hold a big spot in my heart Lets hope that this is the year of the Leafs
For the Habs fans out there......well thats just to bad that you guys still exsist

yeah...it's just really too bad we have 24 Stanley Cup banners to look at when we see our team play in Montreal. And it's just too bad that the Habs fans on here were actually alive to see their team win the Cup last.

i was at the game against Florida on Tuesday (5th Row Platinum ) and we looked very impressive! the 5-2 scoreline tells it all we dominated play and looked very dangerous on our rushes.. Roberts looked like he still has a lot to give, and when Mogilny returns who knows how far we'll go i was especially suprised by the play of Antrhopov he played very well.

Statistically, you're right, Montreal leads the league in attendance (Who knew?!?), quickly followed by Detroit and then Toronto...

Also, whats the point of cheering for a team that won the cup only 11 times when you can cheer for someone that won it 20-somethin times?

You can't make the correlation between an average team and a hockey home. With the way sports are going these days, it's amazing that 5 of 6 Canadian teams are in a playoff spot. Montreal's payroll is around 40 million compared to Toronto's 61 million. I'd say Montreal is doing ok for the amount of money the stupid American owner lets them spend. Sports is all money money money these days...it's a shame really.

one messed up game tonite it was agains NYR, how can u give up a greakin 4 - 1 or 5 - 2 lead, and have to take the game to overtime to win, but still they won, to bad they gave points to the eastern rivals

i thought the last 3 goals kidd let in were pretty WEAK

but once again Sundin comes through with the game winner

yea Kidd's performance was weak watching the highlights. i didn't watch the game so i dunno how well he did. Seeing he was swapped for Eddy, gives me the impression he didn't do well either.

most of the goals were broken plays and there was bad coverage near the net..

and how the hell does an NHL goalie not know that there will be a gap between your pad and the post when you rest your blade against the post!? i hope Quinn gave him some spankings in the dressing room for that. what happened to Tellqvist?

well I must say that the Leafs got lucky this game. When you blow a lead like that, then you shouldnt win the game.

meh the Canucks got pasted today as well. The Flames lost their streak yesterday...

everyone's in a bit of a cooldown period.


Let's hope the Oil continue with their good win by beating the Flames next. Not cuz I hate the Flames (I'm a Canucks fan first but a Canadian fan second) but because teams like Cal and Van can afford a couple of losses, unlike the Oil.

senators are unbeaten in 5 (tied pittsburg but outshot them 44 - 11 Caron? was unbelievable), 16 wins 10 losses, and still nobody ever mentions them. i guess it will take a cup before they get an ounce of respect
