Ultra is an all ages event which is why I skipped it last year. The clubs are usually 21+ but they are a bit more lax during the wmc, but if you dont have a good fake id getting in will be extremely hard

Haha.....actually they said it was all ages, but they ended up making it 16+...i found that out when they asked for ID at the gate..lol...my sister had to use mine to get in because she forgot her ID in the car and we were not about to walk back! so clubs are usually relaxed about things during WMC? Did you go to any PvD, Tiesto, or Timo gigs that were affiliated with the nightlife thing WMC has going on? So a good fake ID is necessary huh? I know quite a few people in the scene, but I think i'll still need that back-up!

I was at all the parties last year and unless you are on the vip lists, expected to be carded. Bribing does occasionally work, but I dont think you want to drop an extra $50 per night to get in. The party list for the WMC will be out later this month but you can expect every dj to be there with the exception of Tiesto. He has decided not to play this year

WHOA...where did you hear that Tiesto ahs decided not to play? He did so well at the last Ultra! So how am I supposed to get on the VIP list in advance? Where do they have good IDs!? lol

when I saw him in August in Ibiza he mentioned it and he has also brought it up in a few interviews. VIP lists wont become available until the parties are actually set. Until then, I would work on finding someone who will make you a fake, but be wary, I would try and get 1 that is not florida or georgia seeing as the bouncers down there see those state licenses the most

Which state sounds good? Utah? lol....Would a novelty license work? Ummm....my friend Chris knows Tiesto, so I'll tell him to call him and ask him what's up. I'm sure you're right, but I want to make sure, because I had toooo much fun last year because of him.

I'm sure Utah would work or any state really as long as its good and (pardon the sexist remark) but if you are hot its much easier in florida...Miami is notorious for it (just like nyc) so being a female and having a decent fake should work for you. Just dont use a florida or georgia or they will know

Space is technically the epi-center of all the parties, not just afterhours...I was at Space every night really, they will offer the usual Space Pass but it requires a license so that kind of screws you over. Ultra doesn't really have an afterparty, there are parties at all the clubs and lounges all day and night, so really afterhours is wherever you go.

How much was the space pass along with the WMC badge? Did you get it discounted? Who spun? Did Tiesto, PvD, and such Dj's go to space? Or who was spinning when you were there.?

I dont buy the wmc badge since I don't attend the seminars anymore. You don't need to buy the wmc badge unless you plan on attending those events. As for the Space pass I think it was $150 or so for 5 nights It was basically all the big names (tiesto, pvd, sasha, digweed, gabriel and dresden, sander, etc...)

you are misunderstanding what I am saying...The WMC is a seminar/forum consisting of record producers/djs/producers/execs/a&r/etc..it is at the Wyndham Beach Resort in Miami from March 6th to the 10th. The WMC Badge is $225 in order to attend the forums/seminars held at the wyndham. Thats really the only part considered the WMC. The other 90% of the people are down there for the parties and the parties have nothing to do with the WMC really. Its basically just labels/promoters/club/club nights putting on various parties/bbqs/nights. So don't confue Ultra with the WMC because Ultra, technically, has nothing to do with the WMC. You going down is like spending a week in Ibiza except you are in Miami

and to clarify, I am going to Miami "during" the wmc, but I wont be buying a badge to attend the actual WMC

No no no...lol...I know what WMC is, but I was confused for just a second about the space pass that you were taking about...so the space pass is valid from what date that you were there? I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions....I just talked to Chris and he said he doesnt think it's a good idea for me to buy a fake ID. Ummm...I think that's the only way huh? I'm so sad right now!

well, i remember we had an under 21 friend and we bs'd the guy enough to let her in, but they are pretty tough there. The Space pass basically just gives you admission to 5 nights. you chose which nights and they punch out a hole in the car each time you use it. The problem with the card is the line you have to stand in. Last year people were waiting over 2 hours in the "passport" line

damn....i need to know their dj lineup ahead of time because i need to know how long i'm going to be there in order for me to see tiesto (if he's playing), pvd, and all the greaties! that's IF i get in. I think it is possible....how much did you pay the bouncer to get your under 21 friend in?

Am I supposed to know when all the good dj's play!? lol...And that's great that she didn't have to pay to get in! haha...so if you are going from the 6-10 of March, do you think that will cover the greatest dj's like G&D, pvd, tiesto, ferry( yes i think he's going to be the new addition), etc?

Ferry will be there. He will be in the states for 5 weeks starting the end of February. Armin will be there this year after taking last year off. The party list with all the dj sets and nights will be posted the end of this month so you will know long before when each dj is playing
