JayD I was testing the dl speed on a few files this morning and the lowest xfer rate I had was 90, w/ an avg of 120 and max of 189. Intuit is a big company too and I think that they should be able to handle it, but it is a valid concern so I think I'm going to avoid posting a open link where even unregistered user can view it.

The database is ready to run and I'm going to go through w/ it. The only way we'll know for sure if it works is if we go for it. I think that I'll be able to manage this a lot better if I have you all register for quickbase--it's a really quick process so I hope you don't mind. To register click here . Unlike myplay it will send a verify link to ur e-mail addy so please use a real address. Then post your username here so I can grant you permissions to view the site. Again you can't view this link until you've registered and posted your login name(for quickbase) here so I can give you permissions to view it. To start off lets limit the upload to 3 per person. If there aren't that many people who participate I will increase it. This is kind of a test run guys...I'm sure we're going to run into problems, but we'll deal w/ them when they come.

Again the tracks don't have to be brand new, but please don't post tracks you know everyone has heard. And please don't give someone a hard time if they happen to post an old track that you've heard b4. Just because you've heard the track doesn't mean everyone else has. If you guys have any questions or problems just post here.

I think I signed up with the username Pachoo and I just tried uploading a track but it gave me an error message saying the file I was uploading was over the 2MB limit. Am I missing something?

Woops! Im an idiot! I just uploaded correctly! And I am downloading at 168k/sec on a cable line so the site is plenty fast. Check out the song I posted. I think it is amazing and no one has heard of it(well hardly anyone). Very trippy, alien, NEAT AS HELL trance! Give me some feedback please. I will upload some more tunes right now.

Ok there seems to be some confusion here. Pachoo and Dj Slain, your uploading to the wrong database. The correct one is https://www.quickbase.com/db/695vw4z3 If you want I'll move the tracks you uploaded to the other database first thing in the morning, or you guys can re-upload them if you want tonite. I added the username Pachoo to the list...so if you can't access the link above then you need to sign up first. I don't know what your screen name is Slain so please register and let me know.

I'm going to restrict uploading on the other database to avoid confusion until this gets rolling so if your getting an error when trying to upload then you're probably in the wrong database.

Oh yeah please remember that I'm asking that you only upload 3 tracks per week until I figure out how many people are going to participate in this. I'm glad to see people are starting to up some songs, and am really glad pachoo was pulling down at 168kb/s. Hopefully some of you guys are already downloading too. If so please leave some feedback for the uploaders. If any of you are having problems please let me know also.

Ok we have 10 tracks up now. Big thanks to InsomnEac, Pachoo and X-Dreem. I've downloaded all the tracks and all are real quality tracks. Right now I'm really digging Terra W.A.N.-Who's gonna ease the Pressure(DuMonde Mix) and Condor-Sky, but they're all really good. Anybody else downloaded any tracks yet???

Liquid X just go here https://www.quickbase.com/db/695vw4z3 It will ask you to register. After registering you can request permissions to view the database or just leave your screen name here so I can add you.

Also quickbase was having problems earlier, but seems to be working fine now...so if you were experiencing problems give it another shot.

i was wondering how we are going to pick the tune of the week out of there, is there a spot where you can vote on quickbase, or should we do that here? maybe its better to only put 1 or 2 song per user per week, cuz if theres loads of songs on there it'll be hard for a lot of people to get them all. jus a thought.

Yeah I just saw that verminator...how long did the upload take. When it was done what did the screen show? I would recommend editing your blank record and choose delete then try again. Let me know if ur still having probs.

Oh and InsomnEac that is a valid point. Again this week is kinda like a test run to work out how we want this to run in the future. After this week we can post what we liked/disliked and change it next week.
