My NFL review ...

Well, well ... I got 3 out of 4 for the wild card playoff round, with the exception of the fact that my Dallas Cowboys got rolled over by Panthers. Ouch!

Why is noone picking St. Louis Rams? I think they are gonna go all the way and win the Super Bowl this year, just wait and see.

My picks for the division playoff round:
St. Louis Rams 28 Carolina Panthers 17
New England Patriots 34 Tennessee Titans 21
------
Kansas City Chiefs 28 Indianapolis Colts 20
Philadelphia Eagles 17 Green Bay Packers 10

Ive said since Week 3 i thought the SuperBowl would be........

St. Louis Rams vs. Kansas City Chiefs

i dunno about the Chiefs, Peyton looks pretty good, and I think him and Harrison can take the game beyond the reach of Holems, Gonzalez and Hall, and of course their QB. Tho my wish is that Colts lose, . I think Pats have the biggest adv rite not to win the whole deal, great QB plus offense if need can step up and great defense which is probably one of the best. ON the other side I don`t really care who wins, hopefully won`t be the Packs or Rams, but if they win then who cares, don`t care about that conference this year.

Carolina Panthers 17 @ St. Louis Rams 31
Tennessee Titans 20 @ New England Patriots 21

Sunday, Jan. 11th
Indiananpolis Colts 23 @ Kansas City Chiefs 38
Green Bay Packers 24 @ Philadelphia Eagles 14

then...

KC (21) over NE (20)

STL (34) over GB (17)

then...

KC (31) over STL (28)

SuperBowl MVP = Priest Holmes.

panthers won on first play of the 2nd OT!!!!

i dont really care for the panthers but i really dont like the rams for some reason, especially kurt warner so thats y i was cheering for the panthers

oo and btw the score was 29-23!!!!

the game was great, soo mnay chances to win, just a classic

pretty nice games have to say especailly the panthers and rams, i wouldn`t expect them to win that game, but they did, will see if they can stop Mcnabb and co. cause if the can then damn colts or patriots might have problems, tho i hope the pats take it all the way since chiefs are gone, tho they showed what u got to do to stop manning, and i think pats defence has it all in the rite spot rite now, it showed with mcnair and titans

St. Louis is strong, but the Panthers have had thier number a few times. I'm going with Carolina over St. Louis in an upset. Guess I'm somewhat partial though.. This year's playoffs has had some really good matchups even though a couple of the games have been onesided. lots of offense

Next Stop on the way to the Super Bowl.... Philly. What a crazy game STL and CAR was. Hope they can keep the ball rollin.

Jester

shitty KC and GB. now i'm out of my m'f'in' pool..

Superbowl call is: New England vs. Philadelphia (NE wins by 3+).

so where is the party?

i'm thinking philly for the superbowl.

Posted by torontotrance on Jan-12-2004 21:59:

Nah....pats vs. panthers in superbowl

Posted by Strike on Jan-13-2004 00:25:

i like philly to beat carolina
if the eagles o-line can stop carolina's front 4 from getting to mcnabb then they got the game for sure...but mcnabb got sacked 8 times yesterday...
i still think eagles can beat the panthers

i also like new england over indy too
manning may be on a high right now, but i don't know how he will handle the weather in foxboro
peyton manning has had a GREAT post season so far though...and that's still an understatement

I guess I am not the only one whose NFL playoff picks have burned ... yikes, Chiefs, Rams and Cowboys are all GONE! There is no point for me to watch or keep up with the playoff scores now! Time to focus on the upcoming MLB season I love baseball ... looks like Astros are gonna have a nice rotation!
