Anything by 4 Strings that has vocals. For instance:

4 Strings - Diving
4 Strings - Take Me Away
4 Strings - Let It Rain (Vocal Mix)

And come on guys, you gotta admit Sound Of Goodbye is cheese.....

Agreed, but "Castles In The Sky" is by Ian Van Dahl not DJ Sammy

what makes a track "cheese" anyhoo?

Posted by montana on Jan-04-2004 15:36:

really catchy vocals + really catchy melody that's all over the track

The vocal is obviously subjective but the fact remains that the production quality is far beyond that of most of the tracks listed in this thread, particularly DJ Sammy et al. so it's a bit unfair to group it as such. And it is a modern trance classic.

In your opinion.

I like italics.

Cheese eh?

Instead of asking for cheese, give some other, less commercial music a shot. Free yourself from the cycle!

Raccoon - Rock the Floor
Rocoo - Generation of Love
Staccato - Move your Body
Ziggy X - Bassdusche

No, it's not my opinion.

Its status as a classic is not subjective and whether you or I like it is irrelevent because it's the popular opinion of the trance community that matters.

As i said some people will consider them as cheesy tracks.Trinity X - Fantasy is not a cheesy track but i included it as some will might think it as cheesy. Also for some cheesy means commercial tracks, for others horrible-meaningless vocals. If it's only for vocals delete everything from Groove Coverage here (as most of their tracks are rock remakes so the vocals aren't really horrible or meaningless ) and some other tracks. But theese days anyone says that a trance tune with overused vocals is cheesy except if it's a tune from a well known dj

Posted by whiskers on Jan-04-2004 18:58:

whoa, does anyone else think that

1. he's about to do something very evil with all that cheese
and
2. you all know too much cheese
