But on the topic..

Ok, so the night started pretty chill.. got to Freds place on South Beach for the "attempted pre-party" Drank some beers and tried to mix on the ol' belt drive, got some food, drank more beer and worked out a plan to get Chaz (lemonvodka) into Space (remember, it's not a lie if you believe it ). So we get to Space and after a double take on the ID me & him get in, then Brent & Flo a few mins later. Anyway we get some beers and just as we're heading to the gate to the main room they open it. WORD! I walk in and see a guy (clubspaceguy) with an "OMFG I Die" shirt a just crack up!! Anyway Markus just rocked it from the get go, so many tunes we know & love: satellite, clear blue, beatiful things remix, bounce @ nothing, ride, simple, and I could go on. So after some dancing I end up chilling in the dj booth for a bit.. and damn it musta been good timing, I'm just watching the crowd then I look down and Ferry is coming in. I just say hey and shake his hand, then they kick pretty much everyone out of the booth
So Ferry starts playing a few later and we get a bunch of TAs up rockin' the block WOOOHOOO!! Couple tunes in Satellite again, above & beyond mix this time, then punk the crowd started chanting "do do da do... doo do do doo" A while later and he drops a real surprise - Holding on to Nothing... I seriously must have heard it the second he started to move the fader!! Well damn I died from that one, after that there wasn't much too memorable. I do have to agree with Damon that his set @ HOB was better tho, but this was still great nonetheless.

Anyway, I had a great time hanging out with the whole FLTA crew again... you guys rock!!
Chaz - great to meet a UK TA. Cheers! (heh, I'm gonna start saying that now )
Flo - much thanks for the place to stay
Brent - hope you'll be able to make it back for pvd & ultra
Rach - eeeew pink eye didn't notice tho, but I didn't notice the all the beers I drank either

Ligaya killed me. Completely. I was so tired, feeling crappy, and then I heard the opening notes ever so slightly in the mix and it was better than anything. Those two tracks back to back ranks up as one of my favorite club moments ever.

some great post and pics guys, i just got back into town so i will give my two cents. for those of you who dont know me im ryans bro(im sick of saying that!), but i had on a white shirt, unfortantely Kenneth Cole didnt put OMFG I DIE on it! and spikey hair i probably poked at least all of u in the eye at least once! anyways about the show. MARKUS's set was frigging incredible, definitly one of the better one's of his ive heard, right up there with his tiesto 4th of july set. i was talking to heather and i was like its going to be hard for ferry to top markus set. but then ferry came on and i swear the first hour of his set was just to me mind blowing, that first song he played is like my fave track at the moment. and then he dropped satellite and OMFG I died! definitely the high point of the night for me. i definetly had a better time this time then last month at pvd, it wasnt overly crowded, everybody had room to dance, and all the TAs i know looked great, and being that it was at space, what else can i say? the best club in the USA. it was nice to meet and talk to arturo, heather(u are so nice dont ever change), suzy and lil b of course(i saw u guys the next nite at that hotel lounge, i was hammered!), and rachel, sorry about the pink eye. i think im going to lay low for the next month or so to the wmc in march, but hopefully the next time we all see each other at space TIESTO will be absolutley spinning his nuts off, word on the street he will be there sunday nite the 7th, but thats just what i heard i could be wrong, but if its the case i will be the happiest mutha in that club for sure. peace everyone, thanks to ferry and markus for a great nite, way to kick off the new year.
