The word stuck with me after reading some books about the cold war. At certian defcon levels the US would actually launch bombers filled with nuclear bombs towards russia. If the bombers didn't recieve word to come back by the "failsafe point" they had no option but to proceed with the mission and nuke russia. The craziness of all of this was that they could pass the failsafe point and then recieve messeage that war had been adverted and they couldn't come back. They would have already gone too far and the russians would have already launched missiles based on the bombers positions, and thus they had to continue onwards to launch a strike agasint the russian attack which only happened because they had crossed the failsafe point.

i used to hang glowsticks from my backpack and my keys. my friends started calling me glo. someone saw me doing a superman pose with glowsticks at some rave and was bitchin about me trying to be superglo. ,,thats it i guess .
