Well said Pio! Let's hope since many of the South American countries have recently elected leftist leaders we will see a closing of the gap between rich and poor in those countries. In the US we are starting to see an evisceration of the middle class, and a return to a more polarized rich/poor society because of our current leaders actions. Basically lower income people in the US and their families (especially in the South) are getting screwed because they vote for leaders based on their views on abortion and forcing their religious beliefs on others, instead of on jobs and healthcare. I wonder if one of the reasons for the invasion of Iraq was to secure another oil supply outside of Venezuela where Hugo Chavez has come to power. I'm sure the CIA is plotting a coup to overthrow him as I type this, and let�s not forget that bitch Condi Rice�s plan to force another election in Venezuela to oust Chavez:

i think you took my post a LITTLE too seriously. it was what you call an exaggeration, and if you lived here you'd know what i mean. it was meant as a joke referring to the disgustingly large amount of young people that are born wealthy, yet are abusively stupid, but their money gets them places. not to mention how most people think that if someone rich says it, it has to be true. where did i say i was rich? i certainly do wish i was though. there were no race implications in my post, but reviewing it, i do see it can be misenterpreted, as it is rather vague and doesn't have the same effect when it's spoken in a light manner as opposed to written in text. either way, was meant as nothing more than a joke, and i apologize if i offended you. also, no need to get personal with insults.

i get out plenty, d00d. but when i moved to BC at age 18, i was stunned and disappointed to discover that it's a 19+ province...i had to wait a year before i could go out partying. coming from the states, i thought that Canada was all 18+, and i was so eager to start drinking and having fun cause the states suck in that department...have sympathy















and, btw: as i understand it, only three provinces are 18+: Manitoba, Alberta, Quebec.

I stand somewhat corrected. I'm old. The drinking ages have actually increased in the last 10 years.

It IS only Manitoba, Alberta, and Quebec now that are 18.
