I have to agree with all the OMG fucking awesome WOW reviews. Unbelievable night all around. Dekoze, as always, delivered a fantastic banging set leaving G&D with a pumped up crowd that was ready to party. Thank you Dekoze for always making TO proud!

G&D - MURDER WAS THE BASE...made my night to hear this track. Been waiting to hear this out live again after Dekoze dropped it at SYSTEM to open his set after HOLDEN. NICE!!!!!!!!!!! I enjoyed every single second of this set. Was disappointed when they had to vacate the stage but can't say I was disappointed with IMs arrival.

Infect Mushroom - blew me away. Dirty and Nasty just the way I like it! "I am the SUPERVISOR"...holy shit...one word...EVIL!

Thanks Liam for setting up the pre meet at Scotand Yard and for bringing in the G&D boys! Big Hugs to all the TAs I bumped into over the course of the night. So many of you to mention! Unbelievable turn out. NICE ONE!!! Special hugs to cono_sur...sorry I didn't get to say good bye and give you one personally!

That's exactly the case. The first 3 of those years on TA were during my underage period + a combination of factors that made it difficult to goto events like these... But i'm legal now, so its all good.

Infected blew me away. Complete edm genius. Way better live than their albums.

The "Fallen" remix played by G&D was incredible. Next time pay for your meals guys.

first and foremost, i would like to thank John for his generous effort to provide guestlist access to this party. unfortunately something happened which was beyond his control which resulted in a few of us not getting in the way we expected. despite this, i still thank him for trying his hardest in that regard..

i'm also very sorry to anyone whom i was supposed to see at the pre-meetup which was i unable to attend. To make a long story short, my ride down (LiANG) and I had a miscommunication resulting in him waiting outside my house on the street in his car and myself waiting for him inside my house for about 30+ mins before realizing it. To Allan, i'm very sorry about this and will definately assure that it doesn't happen again. the ride down was very much appreciated..


Gabriel and Dresden

anyways, onto the party.. i got inside at about 11:25 to see Dekoze playing a warm up set on the decks. i walked into a room were good vibes were all around and everyone was really grooving 2nite and u could tell right away. the crowd was faily equally distributed gendre wise unlike many other past events. Dekoze was pounding the beats hard and ppl were simply primed for G&D. When Gabriel and Dresden hit the decks, crowd went bananas.. they dropped a lotta smooth tracks all the way throughout, and i think people should give them more credit than what they receive for their mixing ability which i personally thought was quite on par. some big tunes of the night were obviously: Andain - Beautiful Things, As the Rush Comes, and their Sarah McLachlan fallen remake.. the only unfortunate aspect was that i found their set to be way too short. by the time i was really getting into it, they were already done and making their way for Infected Mushroom..

Infected Mushroom

Infected Mushroom played a set that i pretty much expected them to put out. Hard, fast, and energetic. Like Ryanm said, I have to agree that their style of trance isn't for everyone since you really have to have an ear for it. (speaking of which was it just me or was that system jacked up way too freakin loud.. my ears were bleeding and i couldn't manage to find my plugs as i was leaving the house). Anyways, among all the sets 2nite, i'd have to say that IM's had the highest level of energy. Unfortunately again, we were faced with a very short set falling somewhere just under 2 hours.

Rank 1

THe much antcipated Rank 1 hit the decks to the delight of many of the trance fans. They of course openned the set with Airwave courtesy of the request by our very own E2EK1EL. Their mixing was pretty shaky at the start of the set and the programming didn't really impress me much either, but fortunately they managed to save the show as their set progressed by throwing down some dirty ass tracks with much more smoother transitions. They played till about 6:40am and even included an encore which i forgot the name of. Big thanks also go out to the guys for signing my US4 poster!


Overall Party Review

All in all the party was again a very enjoyable experience for me which left a lot of great memories. A big shout out to all the TOTA's and TA's that i met last nite, you all know who u are, there's juss WAY too many to name!! This party was very reminiscent of the Guv 7 YEar party with PVD as TA's were literally scattered everywhere on the dancefloor of the club. The feeling of going into a club and being able to know so many people with positive vibes and a wickid party ethic is just indescribeable. another big shout out goes out to all the TA lurkers who i met as well. It was a very interesting experience to have random people come up to me and ask me if I was desidel from TA. This should also be a wake up call to anyone here who thinks the # of people reading these threads is finite. There were probably more ppl who lurk on TA last nite at the Guv than there are who publicly disclosed themselves as attending the party! it's scary to think of all the crap we sometimes write here and all the ppl that read it!!

Anwyays, it was really cool hanging out with numerous TOTA's throughout the night including by not limitted to: Beh (drgoodvibe), Chrissy (tha_broad), RyanM, Brendan, and Mike. Andrea (Chanoa), Steve (cereal3825) with their Rochester TA, Burlington TA, Oshawa TA, and Buffalo TA massives respectively.. you guys know how to party it up and we hope to cya all soon. THe usual kru TOTA'z.. Nat, Monish, Shaya007 and E2EK1EL up on the stage. Jarek (Muff2k) good seein ya again, chillin with Marianne (hysterie), Joanna (jojo_k) and Fuad (fn_xtc), gettin drinks with Peter (Infinity_High), and finally witnessing LKD's stage annoyance in his full glory..

shiets i could go on and on and on , but there's juss way too many ppl.. if u introduced urself last nite and i seemed hard of hearing plz. post here to remind me since it was extremely difficult to remember everyone's names. There was some brown guy trying to tell me his TA name but it was completely inaudible, i think his real name is Neil, so yeah NEIL if ur reading this plz. reply. i also devirginized my new digicam last nite for its first official party trip so i hope to hav all my pics and videos up soon on Travelninja.com! stay tuned..

ratings for each individual set on 10, now obviously I didnt see all of their sets, but from what I saw, I think this is a good representation. (not judged vs each other, but against what a set from them should have been)

go there pretty early after a sweet premeet (but BAD service!!) to a fairly empty Guv, with MO playing some pretty sweet trance. Stayed there for an hour, went to KH, back go Guv back to KH and Dekoze was doing a great job warming up the crowd for the West Coast styling of G&D. I didnt hear how MO made the transition from prog to hard house, but I guess it happened somehow.

I missed the first 10 minutes of G&D but they were solid. just fucking solid. How it went As the rush comes into Murder was the bass into On A high(accapella?) back into DK8 was beyond me. I never anticipated that and pouded away.
Josh and Dave were the most down to earth guys, even more so than Armin, and I didnt really think that was possible. in case they read this, YOU GUYS ARE DOPE!

I went to check out Anne Savage and well..umm...wow.
she licked sweaty ball hair last night.
(Background, Lisa lashes is regarded as the Queen of Hard House, ive seen Annne twice, Lisa twice, and both times Anne fucking blows Lisa out of the water. Not even comparable. I proclaimed her my queen of hard house) Last night was just lacklustre. If that is standard fare for her(which I had assumed it was not) then Lisa is the queen no doubt. I was completly unimpressed with her set, and as equally unimpressed with the Guv. Again I tell myself I never have a good time there (KH I do tho) and that I wont return. Hopefully I remember not to go back to that fucking shithole again.

Back to KH for IM.

that was amazing. Pounding bass, grunting Synths, melodies that are too intricate to disect. It was crazy. Cant really even describe it. Just nuts. Blew all my expectations away. killed me.

I come one step closer to dying a happy man. He was wicked. Superstrings. That was highlite for me! coming out and tapping the melody and then going back behind the decks.
I dont have much to say, but I left just before 6 (I think) and I had a wonderful time.
TA contigent made for a great night. Met some new people, which is always fun, especially when they are pretty cool.(like the blond from Mtl who remembered me from PvD premeet, but she doesnt post so I have no clue who she is so she gets no shoutout)
in fact nobody does, because I will inevitably leave somebody off, hurting them.

Wicked night.
what a blast that was. night overall gets a 9/10 with the 1 point deducted for Anne sucking, and not being able to see all the headliner(2 rooms, 1 me, I see a problem)

G&D - Very happily surprised at this set...and them playing Murder was the Bass was the definition of "out of left field" for them.

anyhow, i juss wanted to add to some of the previous comments that the crowd atmosphere at this party was prolly one of the best ever! i defiantely noticed that everyone was there to party and ppl everywhere seemed really friendly and in a good mood. it's such a nice experience to be embedded in a crowd of people like that which definately adds to the overall experience. wickid wickid ..

I'm sorry, but that soundsystem and the volume they were playing at was absolutely horrible. If you didn't think so half way through Infected Mushroom, it was likely due to your ears being damaged already. For the 30 minutes I was there, I've never had my ears ring that bad when I walked out the door.

I only wanted to hear G&D, but we got there really late, IM not my thing, and Rank1 well, not really my thing either, though Airwave rocked!

Im really glad I came out to this. I had an amazing time....walking in to 'As the Rush Comes' was the perfect song to make an entrance on.
G&D i had mixed expectations, but they totally disproved any kind of doubts I had. And what was with the bears???? Im never going to be able to look at a stuffed bear again!!!! LOLOLOL! my mom would have a heart attack "what are those girls doing to those bears???"
Infected Mushroom, OMFG!!!! tht was the most insane set ever!!!!! the way that Angelgirl puts it is best..Dirty & Nasty!!!! totally insane..I know im not alone in thinking that IM was the act of the night..TOTALLY MINDBLOWING! It could have been not AS loud tho thats for sure. My ears will be ringing for a week
Rank 1 dewfinitely did not disappoint either...played SOO many good tracks, I was dancing HARDCORE all night.

We were going cuz we were tired!!!! LOL!)

Crowd - AMAZING! nice looking people, lots of familiar faces, no congo lines going around you all the time....first time no one pissed me off at a club....AMAZING!!! and most of all not overcrowded.

Smoke Level- again amazing, the level of cigarette smoke was little to none, not like the guv...

Music - Honestly the best party I've been to.....infected mushroom was good but hearing them for an hour and half is a little too much, rank 1 and Gabriel....INCREDIBLE...

Nice to see Swamps and his beautiful girlfriend...Kati..my party geek...Dave...good you came out...Hansolo, I know you are in dominican bro...but you missed out on a gem!!

and all those who I never talk to cause its too damn loud..you know who you are...you are always there...true trance freaks!!!

i was chillin in the area nearby the washrooms of the Koolhaus with chanoa and Kurfew when a whole bunch of these thugged out looking guys got thrown outta the club by about a dozen or so bouncers. One guy even struck back at a bouncer and was fucking rushed by 30 more bouncers!!

i even got a pic of it.. too bad i didn't have my video settings on to shoot the incident.. it was pretty crazy..

Add Trafik - Your Light (Luke Chable Dub) to that. Song of the night IMO. Although Outhouse was great as well.

As for the night itself; it was pretty good. I was really impressed with G&D and Infected Mushroom destroyed the place like I expected. Didn't expect much from Rank 1 and was hardly impressed either to be honest :-\

PPS. About all the people getting thrown out, it's prolly cause of the ghetto-ass thugz from the Orange Room. Sometime during the night while IM were playing I decided to check out Guv for a few minutes. Just as I was plowing through the crowd in the Orange Room a huge fight breaks out right beside me.

OMG WOW, what an amazing nite. Loved every secound.
I really wish my buddy and myself coulda made the pre party but we had a little bit of car troubles. Managed to make an entrence at around 11:30 or 12.

Loved G&D, but it seemed like there was only 1 dood up there most of the time?? IM was different, They used and abused me......i loved it
Rank 1 was doin well, but by that time i was really hurting. Think we left around 5.


now a couple of notes,

-I asked some people if they knew about TA, got a funny look back. Meh.

-While in line we talked with some peeps just asking if they knew anything about the line up last night. Most thought they were just heading to a club, they really had no clue just how special the nite was.

-Higher cover and tickets are ok with me, think it weeds alot of people out leaving true enthusiats.

Personally i thought the crowd coulda been more into the music. Anyway, great times

WIKKED WIKKED WIKKED Party!!!

I got in around 10:45 and headed straight to KH, and I must say I liked the setup in there, but was a little disappointed that they closed off the bar and lounge area...but it turned out to be perfect! It wasn't too crowded, wikked vibe, and very friendly ppl. Everywhere I turned there were TA's.

I was there to see all 3 acts in KH. Gabriel & Dresden and Rank1 were both VERY good!! I loved their sets. But for me Infected Mushroom stole the show!! I luv the psy.

I left at about 6:00 because I was just SOOO tired, my feet were killing. And for once there was not much of a line up at coat check...

I'd like to try, but I'm afraid i'd miss someone. There were just soooo many of us (and that's good thing!). It makes for a great night!

The music was absolutely incredible! I only caught about an hour of Gabriel & Dresden and they were great. Infected Mushroom blew me away! Rank-1 was awesome as well, much better than some people here said he would be. Great women too, but not nearly enough of them.

P.S. Desidel.. 'the party was equally distributed gender wise'. Are you sure we were at the same party? KH was 80% guys!
