Yah, well, Malek, they've already seen the movies...lol....
They're just too used to this idea:

so i dunno, i mean i am guessing that i'll b coming even if i am alone...

Anyway, in case u'd wanna spot me, i'll b the lonely guy enjoyin the music......

But anyway, if i dont make it to Picotto's, i'll DEFINITELY b at Aria for Timo Mass and Corsten. HELL YAH!

Please explain. I dont doubt that Montreal knows how to party (not as good as toronto, but thats another debate on its own ) but when I went to Aria for Marco-V i gotta say that I have never felt so out of place before at a party. I made the trip just to go to Aria. I know in Toronto we embrace other partiers from other cities. I can understand if I looked like a cop or some geek but i dont.
Thank God that we bumbed into a crowd from Toronto so we all partied together. It was also interesting to see the difference when I would approach someone in french opposed to english.

So what is it? Was it just a bad night?
I wouldnt mind knowing.

when you come for your favorite djs you have to realize it's not because he's your favorite dj the night is going to be good.
If you know the djs who attract the most in Montreal, you would show up for one and realize what a nice party you will encounter.

people on the dance floor usually don't like to talk...

I don't know what happened to you, maybe an example would be cool.

My first time at Aria I was extrmely welcomed by Zing and Malek without even knowing them!

Yeah, Malek & Zing are really good host!

So are you Biggy, not too many club owners actually care too much about the clubbers that come out, you take time to say hi and answer questions on forums, I guarantee barring some serious incident, Aria will be around for a long time with your awesome attitudes

A huge misunderstanding...typical to people who never took pilz. Anyhow, from my 5 years of clubbing and going to afterhours I can tell you that Drunk people create a much worse vibe and cause way more troubles than people on E, or speed. As for the Aria crowd it varies but I think on average its 50% pillz, 50% sober/stoned/drunk.
Tell your friends, they are freaking out for nothing.

I come to Aria alone all the time
I was introduced to the TA's and now we chill together
So ur friends are like mine just say fine ur missing out bitches and hang out with us

i prolly cant judge much about aria and their people since ive only been there once... that was new years 2003 when mistress barbara played.

that was one of the most magical nights of my life!

i had no idea what to expect.. all i knew was the infamous ARIA and the amazing DJs they bring.

as i got in my pulse stoped my brain died and my spirit woke up and i was just so enlightened!

eveyone was so cool!! people werent there to get fucked on drugs, just pick each other up.. BUT FOR THE MUSIC!

girls were amazing.. guys were amazing.. everyone was just awesome and ill never forget that night.

you guys are lucky and shouldnt complain!!

i went to pvd @ sona alone and tiesto @ sona alone too and that was back in 2001 !!!

thank God the TAs were there for Armin @ Aria in november 2001 i think it was our first big meet up and stuff

let's be honest, it's way more than 50% that are on pills... i wont give any particular example, but i know for sure that at least 75~80% of the persons i invited to aria when i was promoter brang speed or e in, particularly the first-timers.. good guys/girls that had never smoked a joint organised themselves to find some speed before going there, and it was the first time they attended a electronic-like party. And this isnt anecdotal.
Who's fault? IMO, medias are yelling out loud (too loud) that raves and after-hours are full of drugs (which wasnt the truth at first) and now it became guidelines for all the firstimers as raves and afters are getting more and more popular.

but people taking pills arent fucked as much as the drug advisor at primary school wanted you to believe so the vibe stills good, even better, and people are still interesting and its cool to chat with them, behind dj booth or in the pseudo-chill room.

i tried to meet with some TAs when Tiesto played at Forza, but wasnt able to, there were too many people
Then, I think it was Marco V on the decks @ Aria but I'm really not sure. I went alone there, and recognize Taha He introduced me to all others TAs.. so simple.. then trance really became a considerable part of my life because of this board and mtl-tas

Yeah, Taha is really friendly.

I can agree, firstimers use to try drugs but after a while they are getting used to and they like the music a lot so they come to party and listen music, not only to try the experience.

i love pills.. but i love to be sober too.

its all about having balance.

for me, pills dont get in the way of music or anything.. they just enhance.

my school organised tonight a party tonight with nescaf� as a sponsor (kind of a la benson and hedges events) , and i felt like shit all night when i started comparing my nights at Aria with this one tonight ... the fuckin' dj couldn't beatmatch his commercial hip hop songs and at the end he played 5 or 6 commercial tribal house with the same coco bongo drum sample for 30 minutes and by the way there was like 1 chick for 100 guys

what i wanted to say is that you should feel lucky for having Aria and other places to party , i would give a kidney to spend a few hours at cafeteria on saint laurent then head to aria , just for a night ...
