Cosmic Gate rules. Saw them live last summer at glow in DC. They have a lot of great tunes: exploration of space, the truth, melt to the ocean, back to earth, somewhere over the rainbow, and there two best remixes are of urban train and ferry corsten's punk. I would agree that sometimes there stuff is a little cheesy, but for the most part it is hard, uplifting trance.

Personally, I disagree with a few of the above comments by other posters and I think that Cosmic Gate have matured, refined their sound and found their own place in trance. Their productions
have also improved a helluva lot. Less of the boom-boom bass that characterises hard trance, they have developed a more sophisticated sound (I think).

You should check out some of their latest remixes, e.g Svenson & Gielen - Answer The Question (Cosmic Gate Remix) and their remix of 4 Strings - Diving.

If you want an amazing set, look for Cosmic Gate Live at Eins Live.
Full on, hard beats all the way through with many of their latest album tracks included.

I may not be familiar enough with Cosmic Gate to notice where they have matured through their production career however, They do spin some really good and for the most part hard sets, especially the einslive set. and if any one has heard anything harder (not happyhardcore) please post some and share the wealth, cause I would love to hear it. -E
