markus is pvd's right hand man and is def the person you want to contact instead of this girl pam who i never heard of

that being said, i don't think pvd would consider playing in such a small market as Regina

pork

u mean schulz?

no offense ... but if they cant even get PVD in places like toronto/ montreal then there is no chance that he would EVEN consider the smaller cities

try for smaller names and see how that works

OH jesus thanx for letting us know we had no idea...and PvD has been in both Toronto and Montreal numerous times through-out the years..

pvd came to TO in Oct, the time prior to that was 2 years ago.

It's not that we dont have a rep, the money etc.. just seems you have to be in the "IN" crowd or something to get him.

Past DJ's:
Darude (laugh if you want, it was a fun show)
Polywog
DJ Brian a couple times
Shy Brothers
DJ Macgyver
Ben Shir
there's more too but I dont want to bore you all

Mind you this is for Regina SK.. and yes, we do have a scene there and its pretty damn wikkid.

If you book PVD, I'm there. I'm even willing to pay $30 + to see this man do his magic! He knows how to make love to the decks

Didn't PVD come to the whiskey last year?

I remember PVD played at a rave a long time ago, i think 99 or 2000 here.

dartrance winnipeg is capable of handling the bigger name djs...maybe not pvd or tiesto, but pretty much anyone else!

IMO

Actually....not so much.

TO @ Guv 2-10-2001
TO @ Guv 10-10-2001
TO @ Koolhous 10-12-2003

MTL @ Sona 7-6-2001
MTL @ Bal En Blanc 3-31-2002
MTL @ Aria 4-17-2003

CGY @ Whiskey 4-13-2003

VAN @ Sonar 6-17-1999
VAN @ Commodore 4-14-2003

Also...for comparisons...In the last 4 years, Tiesto has been to Calgary four times and PvD only once.

Honestly and unfortunately, Western Canada will never have much of a shot at booking PvD unless like J-Spot said, it's a corporately sponsored tour. And even with corporate money, we would still only get mid-week dates.

Mr. Van Dyk now tends to restrict his gigs to high quality clubs and festivals. His N.A. management has resounded to not offering him up to events in rented venues or where there might even be a chance of shotty promotion. It is Pam's job to get Paul the best shows out there and she knows his time is valuable and extremely sought after.Unfortunately, some "all-ages" event in Regina, Winnipeg or Calgary doesn't match the offers from American clubs like Space, Glow, Roxy or even Guvernment and Aria for the matter.

Do what I do to see him perform...save your money and buy a plane ticket.

Yeah, bring Markus Schulz here too The more the marrier! I want to see some amazing DJ tallent in Van damn it!

Posted by arturob on Feb-04-2004 16:42:

is not markus schulz. is markus nisch, pvd office management.

btw, markus dont really have a say in usa/canada gigs as they`re handled by PAMDJs. I also heard that in order to book Paul, you would have to had booked one of their DJs before...

all the best,

arturo

When he played the Commodore in Vancouver last year he sucked anyways! Sasha, Digweed, AVB or even Tiesto kick his ass. Who cares if he doesn't come that often. I would rather see Satoshi Tomie or Danny Tenaglia then PVD.

Yea a machine.....NO facial expressions.

I gotta say although he is a good DJ and has made some wicked tracks, I ain't bothered about seeing him again, I saw him not to long ago, it was a good set, but nothing amazing, I would rather see Johan Gielen or Above & Beyond, and Johan I'll be seeing in less than 2 weeks yay, I just wanna see A&B now.
