well i have a calculator and a Sophmore Trigonometry degree, so through my calculations it's pretty obvious Flutlicht - ahmea (original mix) won.

Sorry I'm a little late guys, but here are my picks.

Flutlich-Ahmea
This song just rocks. Sweet build up and then it just goes. Definately 10/10.

Digger-Church of Ra
I really thought this song was put together very well. It has just the right amount of vocals and sweet riffs. 9.5/10

Gladiator-Now we are Free
At first I though this track was kinda cheesy, but after listening to it a couple times it really grew on me. The vocals mesh perfectly with the music. It could lose the male vocals, but still a great track. 9/10

Just like everyone else I'm kinda dissapointed in the # of replies to this thread. I agree with Ground-0, this is the first week and even though we didn't see a lot of the people post their votes, we still got a lot of songs we hadn't heard of and that's what it's all about. I'd like to keep this going for those who are still interested. I'm deleting all songs in the database within the next couple hours. Also do you think we should extend the voting a couple more days to see if we get more votes, or should we stop now??

ya and while your clearing out the database y don't you get rid of the people that just leeched the tracks and didn't vote. This will work guys we just need the right people in this. Like the ones that voted.

heh only leechers that didn't VOTE right? cuz i don't think i know enough rare tunes to upload every week.

Should I really get rid of the people that didn't vote or give them one more chance I'm confused because all the people that wanted to get in this seemed really excited, but didn't participate. So I need everyone's input. Should I boot those that didn't participate or give them one more chance on this weeks contest???

ok guys...I feel guilty for not voting/uploading/downloading, I'm sorry. my isp is dead for 2 weeks now and I'm just here now and then, and I can't d/l and upload stuff cause it's too expensive...I'll get dsl this week or at least next week so I'll participate asap.

hmmmmm i know Ahmea is a Sweet track...but this is a OLD ass song..its been out about 8 to 9 months already came out before Icarus... i couldnt call it a tune of the week but thats just me cuz its very old ....but if i had to put the top tunes i would say

the point of the TA database isn't exclusively for new releases. it could be older tunes that many people haven't heard before.

ALright! My track got the TA's first ever "track of the week!"

Lets see what I can dig up for this week. We should keep the database going even if there's initially not many people participating. I agree that the users who don't help out this week should deleted from the database next week (no room for leechers or lazy people!).

Guess what, with the help of AltaVista's translator, I found out that
flutlicht means Floodlight in german (in which I'm assuming that it is german).

If you want more Floodlight, search for "icarus." I would rate it with the same or higher caliber then "ahmea." Great great uplifting music from this guy.
