i think america should be clear for dancegrooves. i've ordered from them a couple times and its always been good. i think they just raised the price of shipping. other than that no problems receiving shipment. i never had to go to some customs place.

I just went and got mine. I'm fairly certain it has to do with the shipping company only...I'm hoping. If that's the case tehn I will order from chemical and hope I get things ok...

I just received my order from OnlyDJs.com today. It took longer than usual but I got it.
One weird thing though: I got my order but I did not get MY invoice. I got someone elses invoice ALONG WITH THIS PERSONS VINYLS!? Someone with the username Nesco, his order was sent to me. I already sent this guy an email telling him the situation. Hopefully I can get his order to him to where he lives in Switzerland. And get this... he (or she
) placed this order, that apparently never got to him, January 2, 2004. If you all want my opinion on this, I would stay away from OnlyDJs.com for a while, until they get their kinks worked out. But for those who are worried about the Rapid Air bullsh--, I dont think there is a problem in America. But still the fact that I got this persons order along with mine... you know, if I was in his shoes I would be so off-the-wall pissed, I wouldnt know what to do. Anyone live in Switerland know this person? His first name is Radu.

First of all, I want to apologize for all the mess which is going on with the new shipper!! You as costumer and US as big supplier of vinyls are both * $#$@#$ * up with the mess they (rapid Air/customs) caused! Today we heard that this a WORLD problem, shipping to Canada! Not only "only-djs" or dancegrooves has these problems, from this week on, also Chemical, Juno and all the others has the same problems with delivery in Canada! The customs in Canada hold back the packages WITHOUT any reason! We all try to get behind the reason of this! Canadian customs suck really hard this moment... Airborne had an own take-in service at the Canadian customs, so there was never a problem with extra costs or whatever, they always delivered in time! Now, Rapid Air / Skynet DOESNT have this own take-in service, so we think, the customs in Canada are really making money behind YOURS and OUR backs... We are really working hard to solve this major problem, and to be honest, Iam glad its not only our (only-djs) fault...
If you have any questions, concerning your order, please dont hestitate to send us @ only-djs a Private email, and we handle the problem with all the care you deserve... yes, my friend DJ Slav and I are both having the same issues as all of you, he has 2 shipments waiting and i have 3 shipments, 2 from dancegrooves and 1 from juno, they are all delayed and the customs warehouse told me it would cost me approx $50 to release the records due to duty and taxes etc... bullshit i tell you and i can't simply walk over to the warehouse either because i live all the way in Edmonton, Alberta!... i have emailed Andreas at dancegrooves a bunch of times already but i haven't gotten any feedback yet, the last time i talked to him over the phone was about a week ago and he told me that they are trying to deal with it. so if this is the case now with all the good online record stores, i guess i am stick ordering locally...

yeah.. i am really starting to worry because i also have 2 records coming in from Juno.co.uk and i don't want those to get stuck too grrr... anyone else having issues with juno due to this foul up?
Shipping to Australia is bullshit - thats why I never buy from them. If they could match chemical/juno I would definately shop with them.

Well, i have just got off the phone with Andreas from dancegrooves, he and Emiel are both trying to resolve these issues and are right now trying to get FB Express either release the packages at no charge to the customer or send them back to them to resend it a different way. The problem lies with FB Express wanting their $20 Terminal Fees.. and that is one of the main reasons why they won't let the package go out to the receivers is because they want their money. FB Express is the Canadian partner with Rapid Air, however Andreas is trying to get Rapid Air to change partners to avoid these extra charges for the future.. good luck Dancegrooves, i hope you guys fix these problems cause Slav and I are going on 3 years strong for buying records from there, We both don't want to stop.

All trouble is over now... Today we got a confirmation that all packages will ARRIVE without ANY EXTRA PAYMENCE at the Customs... Rapid Air will take care of those costs, and deliver the package with EXTRA
SERVICE by SIGNING AT THE DOOR... We are really happy that the Rapid Air/SkyNet boss called us from his Holiday address with this message.

Here's a positive random note...
My friends and I ordered 6 records off dancegrooves last thursday 2/5. They were in Los Angeles California the next tuesday, and we had them in our hands in San Diego, CA on 2/12.

It's causing me to no longer buy from you guys, onlydjs, and the sad thing is I have ordered 11 orders from you since last year!
Plz get things back the way they were...I won't mind paying an extra smaller fee with PBB logistics like I did before as long as the shipping price goes back to what it was before and the mail comes to my house...no payment
As I told before, the package will delivered straight to your homy without paying EXTRA for the customs shit, Rapid Air will take care of those extra costs in Canadian district...
For orders which are shipped between 01-02-2004 and 12-02-2004, which didnot arrive yet, please contact me ([email protected]) or [email protected]...

hey pascal,was wondering if you could give a contact # to trace our records out here on the west coast of canada,i have a huge order coming and i`m starting to get worried.also which shipping company is it that brings it to our door now.
p.s. the link you provide hasn`t changed since day 2.
this RapidAir tracking page sucks ass... does anyone know if it is FB Express that rapidair is still dealing with?.. i want my fricken records already.. 3 shipments GRRR!
