I used to be scared of rats but i think ive got over that a bit now cause i watched them on 'im a celebrity' and i didnt have to close my eyes. I have to close my eyes during operations though, even if they are fake ones on casualty/holby city.

I have a phobia of boats, as in boats that are in water, big fucking huge ships. What is worse is when you see them out of water, their propella etc and when they sink. Just the word 'sink' is alien to me, sends a shiver down my spine

Toni, that's not weird at all. My flatmate has the exact same phobia. She hates looking at boats in water, and she hates it 10 times as much seeing them out of the water.

Its not quite a phobia, but I dont like talking to people on the telephone if I dont have to. Something, I should guess, about not being able to read someones body language!

Oh jesus god, the scaryness of that thought just isnt worth the heart ache!

Yeah I hate doing this, although I dont hate talking on the phone, rather just hate talking on the phone to people I dont know or if i know the conversation is going to go something like..

"Hello?"
"No they're not home"
"No I dont have any idea when they will be home"
"Good bye"

They say the most common phobia is vomiting, which is strange. Although the thought of it does make my stomach turn slightly.

My mate's got this thing about people who scratch coins along a worktop surface, a bit like scratching your nails down a blackboard (which I hate). It's so weird when you think about it. I wonder why people get strange phobia-type-things like that...
