sorry for not reading this earlier. the thread title didn't catch my attention.

anyways, if you rented the equipment, you only have to pay the deductible that they offered you on the insurance. Other than that the mixer is replacable, the turntables would have been worse since they are the most expensive parts of your set up. And they never took your records so that's good.

I have had loads of things happen to me because of "friends" or "friends of friends" and be damned if I ever let it happen again!

Dude this totally sucks. I really hope u recover your mixer but it is a good thing u at least got the amp back cause u said u rented it. Thing is. Stuff like Mixers (especially the one u had) go REALLY FAST in the underground. Meaning who ever stole it could have sold it the same night to osmeone. There ha been tons of times I have been offered Stolen goods but a mixer, unfortunately, has never been one of them. However, do not lose hope. Miracles do happen.

As for the fact that you know who did it: If they do Drugs and got lots of them on their property I think u should tip off the cops and get them busted. Or, What Iw ould do is punk them ( and I am not talking Ashton Kutcher style). You are right about the cops thing and half the time they don;t even look for stuff when u report it. My dad Got his store window smashed TWICE in one year and cops never found who did it.
