james holden is playing in amsterdam next month
but the event is 23+
it's at times like these i really really wish i was older
armin is playing in amsterdam with markus schulz this saturday and in the hague with perry o'neil and m.i.ke. i was going to go the latter one but armin plays in holland all the time. so instead i'm going to rotterdam for the museum night where you pay 8 euro or something and go to all museums for free, they are open till 3am, have music drinks, there are parties all over the city. should be fun.
oooohhh what's that? I'm 23? really?
just sneak in when the bouncers aren't looking =D
23+??? That's fucked. And I thought I had it bad with 21+ clubs in the states...well, if it's any consolation, I feel your pain
But if you're going to Rotterdam anyway...if you see Ferry Corsten ask him if he wants to do a TA meetup before his Vancouver gig on the 16th
Is this the guy you keep talking about that is supposed to visit you?

:D
i miss you too even tho i haven't seen you since twisted 2k3...
you and your state of trance sign

first, i have no idea what "pmsl" means.
elena: of course he was hot! wearing a yellow/orangey shirt this time. *drools*
definitely good music as well, though i don't remember many specific tracks because of the alky :/
pvd show.. less alcohol!
Kim: "PMSL", it turns out, is "pissing myself laughing"
ah ha, hadn't heard that one before
its a UK thing apparently.
them damn brits
this is my latest update:
so because i am in holland for more than three months, i need to register with the foreign police (immigration people) and apply for a residence permit. i fill out the application form, ready to show all my papers and everything, nobody asks for them. i get a sticker in my passport, pay 28 euro, pick up my permit, thats it thats all, no questions asked
all the americans i know are paying 430 euro
many people from other countries outside EU have to provide proof that they can support themselves here with sufficient funds, certified documents, blah blah blah.
went to rotterdam for a museum night over the weekend. went to some museums, some were cooler than others. boijmans museum in particular was the cool one. also went to villa zebra, foto museum and the architecture institute. met up with a friend and his friends afterwards, had some drinks, good times
rotterdam feels like a much more modern city because of its architecture, many tall buildings, reminds me of home a little. was in rotterdam 2 weeks
ago also for a tour of the rotterdam harbour (the biggest sea port in the world, i think). also went to the delft porcelain factory. really neat place. hand painted vases, plates, things like that. rather expensive tho. one tile work that was on display was sold at 29000 euro :| the famous rembrand painting transfered to porcelain tiles was going for 16000, it was about 1"x2", very beautiful tho
i think now that i've somewhat gotten used to the life out here, im enjoying myself much more, not so homesick anymore. last week my dad asked me if i was ready to go home, i almost said yes. i think if i did, he wouldve organized a ticket back home for me quickly hehe.
