This issue is perhaps one of the toughest I can recall, I personally favor the rights of homosexual men and women, and all people for that matter being acknowledged and protected. While I do not favor terming this marraige in the traditional sense of the term, in no way will it change or impact my life.
If people are gay they will continue to be so, might as well make them applicable under the laws in all capacity marraiges included and pay those marraige fees and all the nice perks that come with being married. In the end life goes on and no gay individual affects my life in any manner so what shall be, shall be. With that stated my opinon only represents maybe just about half of the American population, therein lies the dicotomy of this subject.
As far as I know at this point only two countries in the world have legalized gay marriage. Hopefully Canada will in the next little while become the 3rd.
As far as the issue goes, I dont really care if religious groups want to keep the definition of marriage as between a man and women. As long as marriage is a legal term, everyone should be entitled to it.
marriage should be reserved for a "man" and a "woman". like it has been for thousands of years. having gays get "married" just degrades the moral of marriage.

whatever, just dont let any kid have two daddies, especially if one of them acts likes mommy and its cool IMO.
