The kick comes in a bit soon, but I just want to show how the kick sounds etc.. in this tiny fragment. Also the clap and hihat will change, I don't like them.
It's a lot better than the first you posted One thing that I thought of... imo the kicks should be just a little brighter, and how about some strings in the background? not very loud, but just a little sounds of some strings in the background.

It is the lack of basslines, discovered that this morning listening to it on a different system. Thank you for your input, I am trying to fix this in an original way I hope

But that's exactly why I wanted to do a remix of it lol, I like to be my own pain the ass like that once in a while

Please keep telling me what you think of it. But right now I'm interested in hearing what you think of the bass, if there's enough bass in the song now or not etc...

You turned this beautiful song into suitable material for a horror movie.
It's done well to be honest BUT your style does NOT suit this song.
I don't believe you haven't heard the FC mix cause many parts of this remix are sampled from it.
I bow my head in shame but I haven't heared that song yet. It IS the MIDI file from Ferry's remix though, so yes it's the stuff he used that I'm masturbating with right now. I really understand most of you love the original, I totally love the Tiesto remix to death at the moment. So yeah if you go comparing them I'm sure it sucks quite a bit. I'm learning tons by making it so I'm a happy bull among the virgin cows ! I'm satisfied with what I'm making, I'll finish it up tonight, so I don't have to bother you people with my samples where I wreak havoc with your religion I hope at least one person likes it as much as I do

Well, I think you could really make this remix work although the track as it is now is far away from that point 
Your idea is cool and it can work, even Ti�sto made it work 
Maybe try to work on the main lead. It's too raw and mechanical sounding. I'd try to soften it down a bit.
Ah cool.

I understand man, but take in mind that I'm not a pro and just trying to not duplicate that version. I know it rocks, I just want to give it a shot too So when you listen to it, forget the original for a couple of minutes =)
I want you to hear this..(being all honest)
The first version you posted totally sucked. But you have actually improved it and it sounds much better than before. The main problem is the synthsounds which are used in the melody. If you can fix that and maybe use a different kind of sound it will surely become much much better imo. The current synthchords doesn't fit the melody and I know several ppl have told you so. I think you'll have to listen to them and change it, cause the synthsounds makes the melody sounds worse than it actually is.
Hope you understand what I mean.. I know you can do it better, I feel it. You just need to change the synthsounds in the melody and then the rest will come out of itself..

Here, I tried some freaky stuff, and unfreaked the lead/main synth. I don't know if it's peacefull enough for you guys now. It does sound better then the previous sample, I can see that now

There sure is something odd about this sound... but it sounds way much better now Just waiting to hear how it fits with the kicks/perc..
I'm not expecting a peaceful version of this since it seems too far away. But it would be nice to see how this will end up since I haven't heard much like it before. Could be interesting..
