The song rocks.. Awesome bassline, original snyths, good melody. Better than North Pole IMO.
I finally heard it on ASOT. I like the tune, especially those dying cat sounds. It is quite catchy now that I think about it...
Better than North Pole? Dunno. I like them both equally for now.
brilliant tune!
better than North Pole!
sahara >> northpole
much respect to solid globe!!!! ace!
Great tune but NOT better then North Pole!
I heard this tune in the last 7 shows of A State Of Trance
Great tune... better than north pole
Renco
North Pole was a awesome song, loved it. Sahara is a good follow up and very similar, can't wait for the vinyl release. Personally i like north pole better.

Bring on the release already!
I'm just listening to a brand new remix of this from a guy called Paul Madey. Very nice, but there's no guitar riff!!!!! grrrrr!
He said if Solid Globe had given him the guitar riff then it would of been in there, but they didn't.
Still - a nice remix tho, but the original still owns!
this is a nice track, but listening to this and north pole back to back....north pole is way better i think

Solid Globe - Sahara
3 times Future Favourite in A State of Trance in a row! Need I say more? Actually I don't need to say more, but I'm going to do it anyway :P
Smooth bassline and a good beat (which pretty much has the 'North Pole' sound to it.) and then comes the SUPERB melody!

When Ferry Corsten opened his set on Trance Energy with this track the crowd went absolutely bezerk, I love it!
The B-side of the record is totally crap though
Kalahari or something it's called
'Sahara' = letterly HOT
^
So if you have the record I'm assuming Sahara has already been released then?
Incredible track. I, for one, think that it surpasses North Pole. They're both Solid Globe tracks, though, so it shouldn't really mean much that you like one better than the other. They're both superb.
Solid Globe is an awesome production duo.
Sahara is not as quality of a track as North Pole. For one, in my opinion at least, the North Pole melody is much catchier. It's better than South Pole, and I like South Pole alot; but I think the B-side of this release, "Kalahari", is much better than Sahara.
iz ze nyu solid glope...SAHARA in a state of tranz >_>
So who's behind Solid Globe anyways?
http://www.discogs.com/artist/Solid_Globe
Yves La Verne and Maurice Night
thought Nic Vegter was behind it as well?
Solid Globe is a trio!
my bad, didnt realize that >_>
North Pole has been something breaking for me, but Sahara is still a top trance tune
4/10
North Pole is a great tune, but sahara doesn't do anything for me.
maybe once you've heard it out (if you haven't) you'll change your mind...simply massive, most wanted track of the moment for me.
ah..i am finally in love with this tune. didnt like it at first but now its grown onto me..cant wait for a release..i think its a great track to play at the beginning of a set just to get the crowd moving a bit...
SO WHEN THE HELL IS IT FUCKING COMING OUT! I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!? Seriously though, I must have this tune. Radio rips aren't cutting it for me. I must have...all of it! Blah.
