You have to realise that Only-Djs are scumbags, read the reviews of some customers that talked to the people there, they are all assholes.

They put up that remix on their website just to draw eager stupid customers who keep looking at the "coming soon", so they think to themselves, "hey, i might aswell just check around this site"... boom shameless stupid promotion using fake news.

ONLY the most ignorant record stores do this, Only-Djs is one of them, the WORSE record store.

...though Tiesto's version of Adagio For Strings isn't just an edit in the "PvD sense" but a full mix.

I really hate commercial techno. Artists album releases sucks. But he should release his remix soon, because I think Tiesto makes the music for himself or for the ppl who really love this shit. (Like me)
If I was in Tiesto's situation, i would release it because:
It would make EVERYBODY who loves this melody, his soundz (Tiesto) and really EVERYBODY happy.

So Tiesto if you read this, prob. not =), RELEASE THIS TRACK!!!! Don't wait for your album, release it as soon as possible!!!

I'm waiting for n half year or sth. for your shit....

Actually this is exactly what he said in his first dvd, Another Day At The Office. He is into this music and mixes for himself. The fact that people love it is an added bonus for him. This is the way Dj's should operate. Spin for yourself, if people like what they hear, all the more power to ya

its great if he wants to do that (and dont get me wrong, im a huge tiesto fan) but if hes concerned about "i do this for myself" then maybe he shouldnt be making commercially-oriented tracks to begin with + tiesto in concert etc

I can sort of understand this. On the one had I think it is lame because Tiesto remade this song just as much as Ferry "remade" it in his remix. But then on the other hand I assume he is paying for the rights do use it anyway so why not stick his name on it? Orbit probably does not have the authority to license it to Tiesto anyway.

Whatever, I think it should be called Barber - Adagio For Strings [Tiesto Remix] or maybe instead of Barber even Samuel Barber... But when did I what I think matter anyway

kinda a bit off topic, i was just bored the other day browsing through channels and i stumbled across a orchestra channel so i just listened for a bit then boom like 10 minutes in they do a live performance of Adagio For Strings... hehe thought this was interesting since i was ALWAYS wanting a orchestra to play this song.

I can definately see Tiesto releasing this sometime soon. Maybe for a promo for his new album which comes out in 2 months....It would be a great idea, its a brilliant mix, and if it is in fact released as Tiesto - Adagio For Strings, Tiesto would make a KILLING! In Performance Royalties (Radio Broadcast), as well as Mechanical Royalties (actual physical press of the single on 12" or CD medium). I hope we see this very soon, I can wait to spin it!
