Ok, drum roll please.... What do we have here? Oh, look - it's the prize! Yaaaaaaai! What I am holding in my hand is brand new in the box, sealed, never opened, pristine, cherry, virgin (whatever you wanna call that condition) box containing M-Audio Sonica!

I didn't realize what I had, until now - I guess I should have kept my mouth shut about the prize. But... the cat is out of the bag and I am a man of my word - so prize stands. It's a $70 value! For more info visit M-Audio Site and

Good luck!

How about I just give the prize away? Ok, here's a hint: I had to sell a whole lot of girl scout cookies to save up for it.

I heard BT uses that - that'd be sweet but I'm afraid it's not my bag.

anyone guessed it yet?

Posted by CynepMeH on Mar-06-2004 21:42:

^^^^ Keep in mind that according to the rules, the answer has to be complete. Partial answers will only be considered if there are no other runners up. So - does that answer your question?

Edit:
I'm just teasin... No, no winners so far - but some great guesses. Kinda gave me idea what I should be looking for next as a studio toy.

The only problem with that is setting it up in the studio and other difficulty is ability to run outputs into the system... As you can imagine, mic placement with that type of "woosh" would rather be impractical (even if you put a little spit guard in front of it)

Also, I sould not consider 747 to be rather rare. I am sure most of the people who live around Newark and JFK (or LAX, or any other airport) would attest.
